(US player name Rewt) The point wasn't about ALAWAYS BOUT DA ELO at all, ALAWYS. it was actually learning from the game. When you play Ashe you learn alot of a good habits that make a good LoL player. Lot of things come easy for Singed especially in solo q.
You made a few mistakes in your post. fixed

Singed is a lot harder to be great at than other champs.
Yes, Singed is 'easy' to PLAY because his kit seems so basic. He is NOT easy to be great with. The little nuances that shine thru after you've played 900 games with him are really an eye-opener, and it's blatantly obvious to me whether or not a singed player is good or bad by watching him for 1 minute.

And then you realize that you wasted 900 games by learning a champion that teaches you 0 about any other champion in the game G_G

Best way to get noticed, or go up the ladder. Play a champion that is considered UP but is just really underused, and then use that champion to own people who have no clue about that champion, and keep winning because people are clueless about a certain champion. Then when you get up the ladder, everybody will know you and you will have e-fame because you used a UP champion and made them OP. For example, Rainman, Westrice, Doublelift, Eve player from EU, Locicero, Chu8, etc. You should do it quick before the koreans, Jiji or HS discovers that UP champion and it catches on too fast.
Some Underused champions that are really good. Anyone on tier 3 and tier 4 on this list. http://rog.clgaming.net/tier-lists/44-solo-queue/latest
I have dibs on veigar.

Lol. For the record, I'm not a Red. But there are Rioters who read TL (although they don't necessarily post). I do hear interesting things from people sometimes. For instance, I mentioned that there would be Spectator Mode at Dreamhack in the Tribunal Thread before the E3 reveal. As the discussion on learning champions, I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing to focus on one champion only for a while. Once you become really skilled with a champion (say, you're 400 Elo better than normal at that champion) you learn little nuances that can translate over. So when you go back to other champions, you have a slightly easier learning curve. But definitely don't do it forever. Knowing the lesser played archetypes though (like Support, Tank, Jungler) helps a lot though, especially in solo queue, since there's always more than enough people who play carries it seems. Overall I think having game sense and the like is probably more useful than mechanical skills since mechanical skills can be grinded through customs on your own in a few hours while understanding matchups, map awareness and making good calls isn't something that can be learned so easily. That, and things like Support/Junglers don't really need to know how to last hit. wait sorry, can you clarify. You do work at riot but you are not a red??

imo he/she is being deliberately vague so we don't hassle 'em for Riot's sundry shortcomings of past, present, and future.
|
since he is EU, and is being wishy washy and unclear and dodgy while also being full of information, we can conclude he is an EU SERVER
|
It has to be Marcou, it's the only obvious explanation for why he sucks so much at his job. He is too busy posting awesome posts at team liquid.
|
Im pretty sure Marcou doenst actually exist. It is just an id that riot uses so that they can have a scapegoat whenever they decide to make any sort of decision. Then they hire an actor to play him at actual events.

hes not a red, he reads (like i do) things such as what ymir posted : We showed off 3 new Champions and announced Spectator Mode at E3. Sometimes exclusives go out to the press first, especially during huge events like E3.

Everything he's mentioned in his posts Riot has been saying for months if you somewhat pay attention to what reds post/articles written about LoL (that are posted here in this thread usually anyway). Everybody here just wants spectator mode so they don't care and just complain about how "riot isn't doing anything." Really my main gripe was months ago when the US servers actually really sucked (they honestly don't anymore), although I still hate their business model of a new champ every 2 weeks. I can't ever get them all through just playing as long as my laptop is all gay.
|
The only real gripe I have with Riot atm is the fact that a community member was able to whip up a replays system so much faster than they did. Obviously, LoLreplay isn't nearly as good as what Riot says they will aim for, but it's still mind-boggling.
Hopefully, Riot will deliver when they actually release their stuff.

as moonbro has said, its because they ahve to figure out a way to make those parts that dont work on the homegrown program work on the actual one cuz u dont ahve information sent to ur computer about the enemies (so cant hack) so LoL Replay cant save them

You'd imagine that one of the first things that come to mind when makin LoL in the first place was creating a replays system. It's almost like a necessity for competitive strategy games. But that kinda goes back to what Moonbear was saying about how Riot is paying for their shitty planning in the beginning of the creation of LoL.
