some IRL friends like 1100 elo were talking today about how OP shen is and stuff. and they were saying how RYZE is super pro caster. but tf? his laning is weak so he is bad. LOL also they said morde is bad | ||

Normally QWER will cast your spells but if they have a targeted component (such as skillshots) you have to click to choose where to cast it. Smart cast is bound to Shift-QWER by default. In this instance, your character will automatically cast the spell at the location where your cursor is on the screen. So take Ez for example. Shift-Q will cast Mystic Shot where your mouse is at the time with no delay involved. If Shift-QWER is too fiddly, you can always rebind the hotkeys in your settings. Smart cast is generally used to speed things up since there's no delay needed to click somewhere. Ctrl-QWER is the default hotkey for learning a skill, Alt-QWER is the default hotkey for casting a spell on yourself (e.g. a heal). You can also use the F2-5 keys to cast on your team. F2 corresponds to the ally champion portrait in the top right, F5 to the last portrait on the bottom. So if you are Soraka you can go W+F3 or something to heal people without needing to target. That's useful in teamfights where you don't want to misclick. F1 is bound to yourself, similar to the spacebar key. Also, | ||
