She only offers an inconsistent slow/speed-up in the CC department (grossly outdone by basically every other viable support champ), a heal that eats up your ult CD, and a single-target shield with no real extra utility (Janna's +dmg, Morgana's CC protection), on top of which, the fact that her ult slot is taken up by Mantra means she doesn't have the same 1-shot teamfight utility the other support champs do (Janna/Morg/Zilean/Sona ultimates can basically be complete blowouts).

But it does sound like it will potentially heal for a LOT, at least judging from the description.

The nerf isn't that big anyways. Remember that you have like 5 base MP5, bonus MP5 per level, and 5 MP5 from Meditation. 4 MP5 from Doran's ring is common on many champs as well. MP5 also is most important during the laning phase. Once teamfights occur, the value of flat mana goes up.
Most casters can't complain; they just got a ridiculously overpowered hat, they can just pour some money into MP5 and still end up with insane AP. its more about non mana users that were already really strong/balanced being a lot harder to deal with now. who can keep up with vlad/kennen/shen etc top now?
idk, they have shitty mechanics design to start with. nerf them until it doesn't matter their abilities are free
mana is a shit-teir stat like crit damage and dodge chance, imo spells should have costs, for almost all heros they don't, and that's bad.

I don't think mana is shit tier. It's boring when compared to Energy or Fury, but certainly more interesting than straight cooldowns. Having mana allows for interesting things like Blitzcrank's Shield and Cassiopeia's passive. It's just another battle-worn option that should be the mainstay of most champions.
I do think that there needs to be some homogenization amongst the resources. It's silly to have energy and mana regen runes separated. It's probably that way as an IP dump, but it's annoying to have to deal with it. I would also like to see energy-based chars get some benefit from +mana.
Perhaps every +100/Mana would equate to 1% move speed for Akali, 1% HP for Shen, or 1% AP for Kennen. Something like that would be nice... Though it would be difficult to convey and hard for most people to remember. At any rate, I feel a little silly going Lichbane on Akali knowing that the +mana would be great on someone else...
The mana regen nerf is annoying since I may have to invest in flat/mp5 runes to replace my per level ones. In the end, I feel the nerf would just widen the game's skill gap: Between people who spam and play recklessly vs people who already make the most of their mana.

So I've come to learn just how op nasus is. First game ever as him. All I did all game was eat pizza and farm. 2 shot a veigar. Went 4-0-3. Was playing with 1 hand. wtf

The problem is if your team keeps getting into fights all over the map where you kinda have to help and you die once or twice you can be pretty bad. I've had games where I'd farmed for like 25 minutes in a jungle with a couple ganks and a couple tower defs at most and 2 guys die in our jungle and I just walk over to the other 3 and kill 2 and zone the other 1 away with my ultimate it was pretty hilarious.

I found my old acount from back in beta with the free panth thingy. It´s on the US servers, and since the server switcher that´s on the wiki made LoL bug out on me the last time, i made google do some of it's magic and found: http://eu.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=358
It's kind of cool, it lets me switch servers ezpz, and it has some other neat things like the recommended item changer without it breaking the patcher every thime.

I smell a strange hybrid tank/caster. Depends on how much AP she gets from missing hp and whether it's flat or %based. Her abilities seem to want her to be close to the enemy - lots of emphasis on positioning. I'm worried one of her "ult-bonuses" is going to be clearly better than the rest though. That would be boring.

So me and some friends, including a lvl 12 newbie decide to do a 5-man normal premade... and we get a premade of 1650-1953 elo players against us, the 1953 elo player playing ashe... Probably not that difficult to guess how that went. <_< Nice matchmaking.
