It depends how they work its issues out. I'm somewhat skeptical that they would implement the "BR doesn't stack with other %-damage based effects" unless it's the cleanest way to fix Kog's other bugs. It's more likely that they'll consolidate both Bloodrazor and Kog's BAB to do the same type of damage.

looking at the ryze buff here, I'm wondering how the CD reduction on overload's gonna play out... because of his passive, it seems like, omgwtfpwnbbq if he has a base CD 3.5 spell in his arsenal, especially with the across the board range buffs.

* Duration changed to 4/5/6 from 8.
* Now grants a temporary 100/200/300 mana.

I think they based it off games with the bots playing against each other. It was too obvious that Ryze Bot was the best Bot. I mean he just destroys them all.

man, words can't even describe how much I disagree with you on this one. an escape/chase mechanism is so good and pretty much exactly what he needs.
Also, with his level 5 Q having half of it's old CD, when he blows his load, it will be even more brutal, even with 50-110 less AP. I mean, I don't wanna do the math on how this CD reduction end up working out, but we're talking about like, 2 second CD when you max CDR on him, which means that he gets to effectively half the CDs on all his other abilities (cast a spell every 2 seconds, cast = -1 all CDs = half all your CDs on top of the 40% CDR + it's even better than that because of other spells putting your Q off CD faster too). Like, if he just goes RoA + Tear -> Frozen Heart -> AA I think he'll actually just be able to kill an entire team in no time flat once he hits Glacial Shroud + blue buff.

Well I would assume that whatever changes they make it will probably lead to higher mana cost per damage dealt in earlygame. Which would at least make it slightly harder earlygame.
Unless they merely increase her cooldowns, then I can pretty much continue as before...

Jesus Christ... they really screwed the pooch with the art (and backstory tbh) for irelia. I was looking forward to a stoic, mature, badass woman, but instead we're faced with another adolescent girl who seems bemused with her power rather than coldly in control of it. I'm honestly even more disappointed with this than I was with Lux... At least with Lux we were set up for her to be like she is, with Irelia I feel like they did a complete 180 and fucked it up.

I agree with your paragraph regarding the new Q. His new Q will be great and I like how rune prison will do it damage up front as well. Unfortunately, I just fail to see how exchanging 50 - 110 AP for a gimped ghost is going to be a more useful Ult.

The Hotshot drama is hilarious... all the same people that wanted TOO's first unborn son for his 'involvement'(really not that much) in the hacking issue, are now all posting in that thread 'good to see riot admit to a mistake and reverse it.' Ya too bad they couldn't do that a few months ago when they drove a stake through the NA qualifiers because the level of favoritism they show is crazy high.

Ghost and free mana on an effective 10 second CD sounds REALLY good to me. You have to look at the ability as a whole and how it works with the character, and frankly I think it's gonna be pretty fucking epic on Ryze.
