You don't like it, you don't have to play. Ladder being "unfun" isn't exclusive to LoL--people complaining about smurfs or cheese on ICCup for example. | ||

until you've played at all levels of the game you can't really be the judge of it imo i mean our cevo team last week *crushed* a team of 1550-1600 elo players. most of us are 1300-1400. we went 17-1 and won in like 26 minutes. so you're telling me that players like barbsq and i who are stuck at 1300 elo are legitimately worse than these players who are at 1600 elo, and that there's no luck involved? i don't think you can let it work like that: it can't be luck when we beat a team much better than us, but skill-level when we can't win in solo queue. brees is right, solo queue elo is just determined by who gets more retards on their team. i've had the bigger retards for like 9 of my last 10 solo queue games and i'm about to drop back down to < 1300. this week we play a team full of 1700 and 1800 players in cevo. if we win this tourney game i think that's pretty solid evidence that elo hell exists | ||

Your skill/item order is entirely as normal. Just remember to stay close behind your ranged creeps. If Kennen charges you you may take a couple hits, but you can give some back, and you'll have creep aggro on your side. In the mean time, creep cover makes you immune to Q. The thing NOT to do is run. Then you don't have creeps to block shurikens or respond with aggro, and he'll just Q you all day (while zoning you!). Never offensively pool, especially at 6+ when he can respond with his ult which will wreck you. Once your Q hits 4 (level 7) you're basically out of the woods. | ||

Yes, its a problem, but not one easily fixed. The problem with low elo players isnt that they dont know how to play the game, as 5hit might suggest, but that they are wildly inconsistent. Does part of that inconsistency stem from not being fully aware of things like how many turret hits can i safely take to be able to dive someone and get a kill? Yes. But they are gonna try it anyway. Sometimes it works out, most of the time it doesnt. But when it does, it can make even the lowest elo player look like a pro, and perhaps get fed off of it for the rest of the game. But most of the time its just plain inconsistency, not getting quite enough cs, a jungle's gank not working out properly. Everyone has bad games, its the degree how often they happen that determine what elo you are. Low elo means chances are greater that someone on your team, or even more likely, someone on the other team is going to have a bad game. In games where your team might have players playing slightly below their average, that one death can kill your chances of winning. In other games, it might be you who isnt playing your best, and your fed teammates death results in a loss. But if you get more consistent, you can better take advantage of the games where everyone is playing to their elo, and you are slightly better, and take a win. | ||

Somewhat similar to your situation. A bad player might end positive but if we watched the game I bet you we'd find over 100 things they did completely wrong. Their evaluation of "good" and "bad" is off because they don't have a correct standard of "good". | ||
