Elo hell doesn't exist? My ass... just played TF and: Our Nunu disconnects, then he comes back 10 min later or so, just in time to dodge the leaver mark. When he came back in he said "lag" and he stayed at the fountain. Did I mention, that he'd only cast his ult after I stunned someone? What's the fucking point, this guy is dead anyway. Our Xin. NEVER. NEVER. Never fought with us. But he'd regularly charge 1v5 and die. Then die again, cause he had Guardian Angel. Our Vlad did exactly the same, except that it's vlad and he had Hourglass, so he died a bit less... No, actually, looking at the score screen, he somehow managed to die even more. Fuck me sideways. Kassadin was 4/16 at the end. No amount of typing or anything would get Xin and Vlad to cooperate. Nothing. We warded, etc, blabla, but eventually the other team became too fed for me to kill them and they just walked us over. Fuck this game, it is not worth my time dealing with this shit. | ||

Elo hell is defined by who your teammates are and quite simply if you belong at a higher Elo or not. It's a yes or no question so there will be 2 answers. 10 random people are put together in a game in 2 random teams. Lets say that 8 of these people suck, that means 2 of them will determine the game. If you think you are one of these 2 people then your team is guaranteed to at least be even as far as # of feeders go. Furthermore, there is a 45% chance that you'll also get the other good player on your team and completely own the other guys. If this is what happens to you, then you belong in higher Elo. You will win 45% of the games no problem and will have to carry the other 65% winning about 50% of them or 32%. Total win percentage of 77%. If this DOESN'T happen to you then you do not belong in a higher Elo. Notice that there is no room between these two for Elo hell to exist, because IT DOES NOT. | ||

If you don't enjoy it, then don't play it. For me, even winning in solo queue puts a bad taste in my mouth, so I avoid it. Don't play it if you don't enjoy it. Go troll more normals with TL. | ||
