Because the guys insta-locked in random dps, I proceeded to go revive/tp eve and announce: "kk guys, I'm gonna TRY out eve k?" No response T___T Then I thought I might as well go jungle yi or something fun, but didn't notice timer. So yea... Hooray, stuck with eve and smite/ghost.
So I go into the game and I my reaction was something along the lines of WTF OMFG NOT AGAIN. WTF DO I DO I remembered some people complaining on the LoL forums about how aspeed ulti + BR on eve is OP, so I went razer -> BR. Then I remembered I gotta build tanky, so i went rylais. Lastly I didn't knew what to build, but I thought I needed ap, so i got giants belt then tried to build lichbane.
On overall I had no idea what I was doing, but I somehow managed to not go [edit negative.

Second time they all bought 1 ward as I told them to do so, just in case they are dumb enough to engage 4v5 again at least they can throw a ward down and I can tele to it. I yell ward ward ward and NO ONE PUTS THEIR WARD DOWN. Takes 1 second, but no. Soooo, 4v5 lost again. They push our base. I kill 3 at our tower but die, and they push 2 of our inhibs. We get baron, we push a few of their towers down. We're still up TWENTY team kills at this point because all I did all laning phase was gank to try to carry these baddies, even though never did a single one listen to me and push their towers once we killed them......
So now all 4 of them had a ward on them by my orders once again. I'm defending our base that's getting pushed in by super minions otherwise we autolose. I tell them to defend. Instead, they are, for no reason at all, by baron, that won't respawn for another 2 mins anyway. I ping, yell, and scream for them to get back and defend. They. Don't. Fucking. Listen. They instead engage AGAIN 4v5 against the other team. I yell and ping to ward as I ghost to them. Still no ward at all. Not fucking one is put down but all 4 have it in their inventory. I get there only to be able to kill 3 once more but die to the remaining 2. So then they push us for the win.
Moral of the story. I am terrible at this game, yes, who should have just warded the entire map myself, as my team wouldn't do it. But wow others have no common sense at all. Honestly, like, these people are as stupid as turkeys who legitimately will look up and watch the rain with their mouths open until they drown themselves.
Sorry for the rant. I wish Riot would ban people for having no brains at all. Like the 200 ELO (at least played like) players I was playing with tonight. -____- I could teach my sister's dog to press 1 (if the ward is in the 1 slot) and click with her paw faster than I could have taught those guys to do it.... I dunno, if I was in that team and was an average LoL player I'd be raging hard at the idiot veigar who keeps farming instead of coming to teamfights. Sometimes its not possible to not engage because you're poking at each other and someone gets stuns or w/e. In any case, farming time is a time when teammates are out pushing lanes or someone is dead and the other team is doing the same and recoverying etc, when your whole team is up you MUST be there to teamfight, just saying don't engage I'm getting blue is using the whole team's time for your 1 blue buff which you probably don't need to win the teamfight but that might work in an arranged team but in solo queue is pretty stupid as people probably won't pay attention and either won't notice you're at blue or else accidentally get hit by an initiator or something. That just says that the average LoL player doesn't understand the significance of having your carry with you late game much less having even numbers for a fight... The carry having blue when they have no mana AND they are the carry is worth waiting 10 seconds for. You never have to commit to a team fight... If someone gets hit by an arrrow from ashe and the rest of your team isn't there then don't run in and have 4 people die instead of 1. That person just messed up and cost you an opportunity to push but that doesn't mean that you have to then run in and die and most likely give up a tower/inhib.
On another note... I feel that Eve is perceived as a large threat because she changes the pace of the game. I honestly don't like games with her in it as much because you have to play sooo much more passively. Sure, it brings out some good play at times from people but it makes a 25 minute game feel like a 55 minute game at times.

I think WoTA is pretty good rushed on vlad, seems to reduce the overall damage you take from your spells and it's cheap too. Plus the vamp aura can be nice for your team.
Warmongs seems a bad item for him, he has a lot of hp anyway and dies pretty fast because of no armour. Getting it for the AP is dumb and it doesn't really help you survive.
|
^^Nothing worse than a 30 minute loss turning into a 55 minute loss. Sure you might have the chance to turn in around, but 90% of the time you won't and you're stuck with players that won't finish the game and put you out of your misery (assuming a team that won't surrender). I really like Riot buffing the early game, though I'd wish they'd buff farming and lategame too. I feel like (as a lvl 20 baddy) most games turn out to be really one sided. Either the successful team needs to be buffed to win, or the unsuccessful team needs to be buffed to have fighting chance. Otherwise the game is like a slower DotA/HoN/casual trail, rather than a successful competitive MOBA/RTS/DotA clone. And thats without touching the power of PSMove or Kinect or Steam.
I love LoL and I love the more casual pace its taken on, but I feel it really needs to step up its game to be considered in any way the same league as HoN or SCII/Mods. I know Riot can make it happen, though I'm a little worried they will just expand/fix champions rather than work with Riot to make a true competitive MOBA that will be able to complete with DotA 2, HoN2.0, and Blizzard DotA.

The main thing I don't like about eve is just that she can get to a really crappy point pretty quickly.
Me and my brother were duoing bottom, knew eve was ganking and owning face. We were two inches outside of tower range just to stay in XP range since we didn't have lane dominance. Eve appears and between her and the opposing duo my bro dies instantly within the length of her stun, good coordination on their part but it felt awful.
We hadn't had an opporunity for one of us to back and even buy a vision ward, and we were playing about as safe as was humanly possible. Sure we could have turret hugged instead, but then we'd be denied xp just because of the POSSIBILITY of eve being in our lane.
Maybe it's just because she got too fed or w/e, but I've never really liked having to deal with Eve since that one incident. And that was before she became OP FotM.

I would argue that the jungle CS change is the major reason people suddenly think Eve is a major problem. Before, you at least had some idea of whether she was creeping somewhere or wandering the map and just had to play careful when she was wandering. Now you have to play cautious ALL the time after about 3:45 into the game because Eve could be anywhere at any time.

And it's not the high levels that are screaming Eve imba, is it?
Lucky you, you haven't played against my Eve yet it seems. Be cautious starting at 2:20, especially if you are close to her red buff.

The same applies if you are against a fed Panth of TF who ganks aggresively. Especially if they start jumping right onto your tower and still make it out with a kill.

Tbh vs eve I'm going wolves>blue>her red and pick up the free FB. The back brush at red is arguably the least useful brush in the game but vs eve it's a blessing.
On another note, afaik shaco is the only character left whose spells can be seen anywhere across the map, since I don't play him he is a piece of cake to counterjungle but still I believe that he should be fixed since everyone else did. (actually I think malz's Q and W can be seen aswell, but that's only useful to check for sneaky barons)

Chrispy is getting so much advertising from regularly winning vs hotshot's smurf that he could set up a legion of fanboys in a few days.

I know exactly how good blue buffs etc are and usually keeping 5 occupied with 4+1 tower while getting blue buff is fine but the average LoL player isn't very intelligent. I'm in no way claiming his decision was wrong, but in a solo queue you need to account for the players themselves . When I play jax and I farm a lot when nothing is going on because I can't harass at all I get flamed constantly. When I play annie and stay in lanes almost all game when possible and am at basically every teamfight people rage at the guy farming after they initiate 3v5 or 4v5 often getting my killed trying to save their asses.

One of the people I played with was on my friends list. I guess I accepted their friend request after I won some game with them, so was like, heck, why not, just a game. I asked her after the game why she didn't just put the ward down like I asked and she literally could not answer me. Straight up told me she didn't know, like, her brain told her she needed to but she didn't. I was like wtf...? It made no logical sense at all, but that's actually what she told me happened.
I was just angry about the stupidity last night, so sorry for the rage. But it kind of is a good example of the stupidity in not only the game, but just people as a whole. In reality, if I did push with the rest of our team instead of get blue I probably could have gotten off a few spells simply b/c of veigar's passive. But I really don't think we would have won that fight. It was stupidly initiated from what I saw (didn't wait for creeps and it was a towerdive for no reason). My plan was simply get blue, wait for the creeps and then poke at them. The moment their sivir came out to BB (I noticed she liked to do that a lot) just stun, kill, and then we could initiate and win 5v4 with creeps ezpz. But got to remember, top 25% is 1200 ELO lol. Most people's mentalities are "omg if the opponents die, I can win. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and don't think things through at all... :s
It's why I prefer playing with good players in TL. I know I'm not the best player myself, and I make a lot of mistakes, but at the very least I can learn from them and I can count on them being reliable and competent.

It's evening on the LoL EU servers, which means it must be time for breaking servers and non working chat! Hooray.

It happens to everyone. Some games, my brain will know that something is wrong, but I'll do it anyways. Like I know I need to rotate towards bot, but I'd rather just last hit minions.

Trying to get in practice on solo lane champs is the most irritating thing in the world because everyone always insta-locks a solo and/or doesn't pick a jungler. -_-

Morde in duo is awful because he likes to push and steal all the creeps. Vlad is actually highly effective in a duo, however.
