I still like the movespeed + max stacks effect because it helps all your damage/reduction but in terms of one-hit dps you're absolutely correct. | ||

So he went AFK for about 10 seconds after raging, when I said that the best way to deal with a tantrum is just to ignore it. For the rest of the game I played the bait, and it was hillarious to see Kassadin refuse to see it as a viable stratergy (Basicly just go "Look at me I'm a free kill Yi" and then have the rest of their team chase you all over the map into an ambush) After acing the other team 3 times Kassadin called me a noob and ignored me for not being serious. | ||

With poppy's .7 attack speed, that's over 21 seconds, which is definitely longer than the CD on E, meaning it will never out damage it, and it might not out damage E even if you can't get her to land on a wall. If you need movement speed (which I find is always the problem with poppy, not being able to catch a champion) I build a zeal for triforce early, it gives you 400 movement speed with boots 1, 422 with boots 2 and 432 with finished triforce. W gets you up to 475 if I remember correctly and ghost gets you to 520ish. Lichbane is lacking in the movement speed department, I find myself too slow to catch MF's and the like. But then again I play with 700 movement speed yi. | ||

To be honest though, you really should give the blue to a Kassadin every single time. Maybe not that one but he's not totally wrong, either. Also, the bait strat doesn't really work so well at the highest levels, and indeed might turn into you just dying for nothing(depends on the teamfight strenghts of the teams). | ||

Shikyo is right, blue is generally better on Kass and a bait is extremely risky when people are decent and you are Yi. | ||
