i just duo'd with snowster and every single person in the game was 1600+ elo except me (lowly 1350 woooo) and i still went 9-2-11 and absolutely rolled the other team just by hitting R with malphite. fair and balanced champion is fair and balanced | ||

I tried to gank his lane top and it failed so he completely overcomitts while I'm getting out just fine gets himself killed then yells at me because it's "my fault for doing a fail gank." Signs this game isnt going well, MF wasnt doing well at all throughout the entire game got killed multiple times in mid by kennen. Still I'm doing great they dont have a jungle so I have as many buffs as I want I'm WW eating their squishies for breakfast and once I got bloodrazor I was making Rammus cry as well. It all culminates in my first after many failed attempts at a pentakill and then they flat out refuse to baron and win. They run to different areas of the map and or go buy they respawn and catch me and the one other dude trying to help me solo far too early to get away with it since I havent bought in 15+ minutes. So Singed and I run away but instead of making sense Taric charges into their entire team and flames us for abandoning him even though he came in on their team from the other side. The next series of teamfights consisted of 5v3 or 5v4 engagements where they charge straight into battle cuz hey we're winning right? Each lost fight is a downed tower and then we eventually lose culminating in Taric saying that it was my fault for trying baron... Sigh | ||

My big rant was a terrible Ashe. We needed a top solo lane champ and had a MF mid picked already and this guy chooses Ashe. Laning phase goes in our favor, but team fights was when clearly this Ashe is terrible. I warded around their jungle near Baron and try to force a Baron fight. Their Malphite gets in bad position and is split from group and we put a little damage into him, but he is able to run back to his team. Ashe flashes in front to land another auto for some reason which puts him in front of the tank and he just gets blown up. They get baron, we defend and they just are able to farm all their lanes while we defend. No towers lost, we win a fight or two and they only have inhib towers left. 3 of us go to farm and push top lane while Ashe sits in brush and for some reason Rammus decides that's a good thing to do and does the same thing. WW walks by the brush, Ashe volleys, totally missed the WW and Malph ults into brush, followed by WW ult and a dead Ashe. They Baron and push for the win. I don't understand why a ranged carry wants to sit in a brush as it gives absolutely no positional advantage. GG. We had game won, but Ashe wanted to be our MVP. We had a Shen and me on Janna to save her ass the other fights, but we just couldn't save her every time. | ||

Bot was mostly in their favor (urgot eve vs urgot yi). Top was strongly our favor, starting with a double kill when Taric/Panth tried their cheesy bush crap and chased me (Singed) a little too far. Flipped him into tower range, killed him, chased down taric, killed him. I had catalyst at level 2. Got another kill. At this point I was 3-0 and the rest of the team 0-2. Laning continued for a long time, and we ended up something like 8-12. I ran around solo pushing and farming lanes. Also dying stupidly trying to take towers. I was 6-6 shortly. After about 20 minutes I never died. We were losing in towers, though. They had 2 mid and one outer down, while we'd only killed bot outer. A string of losing teamfights gave them bot inner and mid inhib. It was TIME TO CARRY. At this point, I like to imagine that I leveled up Singed's hidden fifth skill, "BE AWESOME". Their Panth couldn't scratch me. Their Yi tickled. Their Kennen was but a mosquito. Their Taric crumpled. Their Urgot... lol. I hit that delicious point where I could win teamfights by myself. I tanked their entire team, even through chain-stuns, and escaped without ghost or cleanse. Then the rest of my team got there and killed everyone. I hit max items around 40 minutes and just pumped triple pots for the rest of the game. I filled up a mejais despite buying it last. I tanked fountain turrets to kill them. My guardian angel never activated. TLDR: if you want to win, be Singed. | ||

Either way games go bad all the time, better luck next time. wait what, i thot u meant 18 at first, but u clearly mean 30. since when did summoner level have anything to do with baron? the real thing that ppl have a problem with baron comes from the fact that A) they have no idea how long it takes, and B) they have no wards to see where the enemy team is. there is nothing wrong with lower summoner level players figuring out how long it takes to do baron, and ranked has nothing to do with this at all. i'm really trying to figure out what you mean by this. I always encourage new players to take the initiative and decide if they want to baron, because even if we fail, it gives them a better sense of when one can and when one cant, which can only help you. edit: @ rugfeeder: ahahahahahahahahahahahahah i remember reading somewhere that apparently singed is the quintessential 'you cant carry with this hero' (according to some newb who is 'stuck in elo hell, and shouldnt be 900, but should be 1300 at least'). i think it might have been in that chauster thread | ||
