I don't remember my route that game - generally I start at blue, did I not go there that game? Might have been doing something new. -_-
Thanks again.

You went blue -> wolf -> minigolem then all the way back to wraith and then all the way back up to top for a gank. Then you followed by wasting time attacking turret, then killed a few lane creep (stealing from your teammates both of whom were alive) and then proceeded to walk allllllllll the way across to kill the wolves before finally backing.
Your first Lizard was at like 20, which is somewhat mind-boggling.

Your first Lizard was at like 20, which is somewhat mind-boggling. That's weird, I'm normally way more efficient than that..... Was there a counter jungle or CV in the air before? A lot of the time I get nervous going for blue when there's someone chillin out near the buff or I have no guards, since my health goes pretty low if I don't get a leash. I think it generally drops below 100 since I don't have a ton of armor on my runepage - generally apen marks, armor yellows, flat mr glyphs, flad ad quints - bought those pretty early and didn't really find a need to change them up for jarman.
Regardless, I'll improve 100% from considering those things... The reason I pushed that tower after getting the double kill was that I thought with 3 full health champs we could take it down. I guess level 4 is way too early to take down a tower.
|
It's often not worth it to take the early tower, esp at higher levels, because you just open up the pushed lane to a gank. I usually ask junglers to not hit the tower if they succeed a gank and minions are hitting the tower :x
You got blue buff fine, you just didn't get red buff forever.
|
I need to get a bit more armor on my runepage or take more defensive masteries, since if i go blue - wolves - wraiths - red than I get way too low, wraiths are a bitch to get for me without waiting for my smite....
|
You don't need to do consec, I'd have just gone back after the gank and done another round and ended Liz, then gone back to heal etc.

Otherwise warding is impossible. Remove uncertainty by giving map vision, teams move more freely, the late game doenst drag on as much. okay best idea ever: you put a bunch of wards close together ( like a LOT ) and hope that they don't come as 5 to spend time clearing them. hopefully its on like a support and the carries are like fuck this and leave to farm because they think they're cool. so you pick off the support ( getting rid of the oracles also ) and then you can 5v4!

ok, fair. thanks again.
in the words of mogwai, it's too tired-o'clock. im out. ^_^

I think they should just put on a timer on wards like in DotA. This way you can have supports spamming 5+ wards per trip with every other person on the team with 1-2 every time. Wards are too easy to get. They should just put a stock in the shop, say 5, with each one on a 30-60 second cooldown or something.
Oracles is pretty darn strong though, put it on a tank or low priority target and you're guaranteed to have that oracles be very "worth it." They should put either A. a timer on it, or B. make it a buff like blue buff or red buff (it gets transferred to killer).

On July 13 2011 07:50 APurpleCow wrote: For each CDR glyph I don't need because I'm taking CDR/level instead, I can throw in an mr or mr/level glyph. That's 2 glyphs you can free up. 3 MR or whatever that is at lvl 18 with MR/lvl. Compared to potentially having 40% CDR with just CDR boots and a Kindlegem or a Blue Elixier - WAY before you hit lvl 18 (which is the point when you will hit 6% CDR from runes since you squeeze 2 MR runes in).
If you don't have your 40% CDR build set up during midgame (again, WAY before you hit lvl 18), there's hardly a point in using runes for it.

That and they don't like the fact that its standard for a support to get.

@ smash, maybe you can do a commentary of your game like loci did and upload them somewhere for those of us who can't catch your stream when it's on.

They could alter CV to only reveal a target location for half a second. That would reduce it's immense value for jungle teamfights.
It would still allow you to spot if the enemy team is doing dragon/baron, just not the incredible combat bonus that it currently provides by taking brushes and corners out of the equation.
