Why everybody in Hero League act like a pro? Come on, if you want to become a pro go make your team and play Team League! One of my main characters are Tassadar and Nova but on Hero League there are always people who auto-hate Tassadar and Nova and tell you not to pick them. And these people trash talk to you the whole game.
I guess the best way to deal with them is this actually:

Tassadar is crazy strong now, soon they will stop hating him. But the nightmares Nova gave such people never goes away. Typing is losing might be true. But with a Nova on the enemy team, typing is death muahahaha. I am usually nice though and just taunt them if I see them standing around in the middle of the lane, if we are ahead only of course.

The world of Rank 7-9: Players are smart enough to know when they are ahead. Players are not smart enough to get more ahead.
Luckily my last teams managed to turn it around in the last minutes, but the games on yesterdays road from R9 to R7 were painful. Half the games we were ahead by 2-4 levels at some point and so everyone becomes greedy and people dive in 3v5 for no reason until the enemy is on equal XP.
Never, ever tell people that you're ahead, that you have a great composition or that you should be able to stomp the opponents now. They'll just use that as an incentive to lose any edge you had. I think the only thing saving some of yesterdays games were my "Please let's not throw this now" pleas.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with Tassadar. He's very strong if used properly. As for Nova, I'm tired of seeing all of these retarded Triple Tap Novas run around who never are able to land any damage on dive targets. Just take Orbital Strike, FFS. Problem solved.

This is so true... I can't count the number of defeats I got after a 2-4 level lead. And the comebacks of course. I think getting a lead is the time when you have to type "no risk guys", "careful" and do retreat pings a lot. It sometimes works.
@ xDaunt > orbital strike is so good and it has so much utility I don't understand why people go for triple tap. Triple tap is supposed to burst the target hero, but that's already what you do with your abilities, you really don't need it (nd you could add it's easy to counter, to interrupt and to kill that standing Nova). Orbital strike has global range, you can cast it in the middle of the melee to help the fight a lot, you can scare pursuers and save friends (or yourself), you can interrupt objectives anywhere, you can zone out opponents, use it like a wall in front of a chased opponent to catch him and finish him, use it on channeling Nazeebo to scare him into canceling his ravenous spirit, or just burst your opponent after using all your abilities on him. And I'm sure I forget some uses.

Wombo Combos ending in Precision Strike are terrifying. Whenever a Nova has a Zeratul, Zagara, or Gazlowe (assuming he wasn't dumb and got Grav-o-bomb) on her team it should be a Precision Strike pick every time imo.

Novas picking Triple Tap is one thing. I've also had quite a few Novas who went for completely random talents. I'm sure the Psi-Ops Rangefinder, Envenom, Headshot and AoE Snipe build is popular somewhere in bronze league, but whenever I see a Nova not going for the hero damage talents I just outright cringe inside given she can't do anything but dish out hero damage. And then there are players that see the enemy team getting a composition with a low amount of squishes and a high amount of CC/stun and think Nova is going to shine there. Right.
A good Nova versus a squishy comp will carry her weight and maybe then some, but there are so many Nova-or-quit players out there...
Also, just had a Rehgar in QM on Infernal Shrines who was the solo healer and went for....no heal talents. At. All. All of it damage talents, Battle Momentum and Blood Lust + the 20 upgrade for it. To top it off, we had a Nova AND Zagara that tried to solo the Punisher while they were on low health. I kept warning them to back off but nope, Punisher solo'ed them both individually right next to our core. Literally like 10-30% health and trying to solo a Punisher as a squishy. Most of the enemy team was dead, there was no other threat, just the Punisher (core was at 100% and we still had keeps). They died for nothing and gave the enemy team a chance to come back. The game took ages but we did eventually (somehow) win, mostly due to their suicidal Gazlowe and Sonya.

Two games in a row with BrightWing in HL. First is a solid victory despite some crazy buddies (let's go boss when we're 4v5 and they spotted us). Second game... well I have 2 minutes deconnection at level 7. I come back, we're still ahead. We do a solid game. Around the end game a 2 levels lead, tight game but we're well ahead. Noone makes stupid errors. At level 18 I think, Anub dives into their core although we all backed, I stay to help him escape (easy with Anub and BW)... and that's the last thing I saw. Couldn't reconnect into that game. When I logged back, we had lost. It means we lost in the 2 minutes it took me to reconnect. I think if Anub hadn't dived I'd have time to go back in. Thanks crappy Internet. Also, I now have 2 trash games to do in QM to be allowed to play HL again. I'd be rank 1 or 2 if I hadn't that much losses because of disconnections... (currently rank 5 with 2 disconnections in my last 4 games, and countless disconnects in the last 2 months)

My latest ranked match: First pick Nova that kept raging during the match. Jaina constantly in front of the tank, then complaining about lack of heal when I used all my skills and still couldn't keep her alive as Uther. Team sitting on our immortal instead of damaging theirs.
No, players at rank 7 are still terrible.

Sigh... played QM all night just fine, play a game of HL, and random disconnect. Sitting with "attempting to reconnect" with no progress. Internet all fine. Tried to restart client, didn't work. Ended up with a loss in a game we could have won and were ahead in.
Thanks ;;

I swear, I've played with that Jaina--- but she was rank 30 at the time.

Sometimes I can really hate QM, even though HL can be just as bad. Losing pretty much 90% due to composition just stings.
Also, when I do more damage as Arthas than the KT on our team, something isn't right. Gazlowe is also a liability most of the time and ours once again decided to play the PvE only role and pretty much never took part in a teamfight and then started wondering why we were losing. He gave up the bot lane fort whilst it was being attacked just to get a single merc camp.

Maybe someone will be interested to know this, but my match history in HotS shows a defeat, but HotsLogs shows a victory. Also I got 250 points at rank 5 progression which would be impossible if the game was lost. (I was around 150 before it and haven't played HL since) I guess when you don't play untill the end of a game HotS shows a defeat but it still counted as a victory. I was quite angry yesterday and kept telling myself that I should consider it a victory because we would have won without those internet problems. In fact we did.

You shouldn't justify bad play by looking at score screen numbers. Arthas is one of the warrior/bruiser type that can do a lot of damage Sonya and Leoric are warriors, but in most games they have top dmg, partyl because they survive longer and can be in the thick of things. KT might have to back up earlier/ get chased by enemy warrior/ CC'ed and has therefore less damage but was still a valuable member
I hate those Gazlows too :D I hate them almost as much as when enemy team has a good Nova / Zera

Well, just had a game where with Artanis, going for a shield build, I still had highest hero damage by quite a margin. Whilst I do agree that stats are just stats, something is clearly wrong when I'm doing more damage with a shield Artanis than my team's Valla, Hammer, Anub'arak and Murky.
And also, solo QM Tassadars just ruin 9 out of 10 games they go in. If the enemy team gets an Uther/Malfurion as a result you just won't win the engagements. All you can do is pray to get an early lead and keep it but with random people the odds of that are slim.

Had a few games since the change, where the Tassadar just stomped Uther in terms of healing and damage. Also makes the first boss objectives look like a joke. But yeah Uther still got a stun. And as Tyrande with my healing build I can keep up with any other support, atleast as long as I can auto attack. So its definetly no autoloss anymore.
Doesn't change though, that both Tyrande and Tassadar are heroes where you need to know what you are doing, so free week is hell with those two, unless you play support haha.

Oh my god...
Played a game in HL, leading 3-4 levels, suddenly half my team drops out and we lose a big fight. At that point the remaining people just kept ranting about Blizz and servers and stuff and we proceed to lose 3 more teamfights and therefore get stomped
Bots are bad, ranting/flaming/toxic people are worse

I found him!
The Leoric that dies intentionally. Version "not even trying to hide staying beside core and not hitting it". For the majority of the game.
He was of course reported but our Sylvanas told us "he does it all the time" and he was not silenced. Guess it takes time. He was flaming too, hope he takes a more serious punishment.
Damn, there is a surprising proportion of douches playing this game, explains a lot about society. But its always interesting to find the guys that stands out.

Pfff. daed game.
3 games in a row i tried to carry an afk. That enough for me.

I worked out that in a game on Infernal Shrines with ETC I healed about 40k. Prog Rock/Guitar Hero/Groupies/Storm Shield... and he's a tank. If you have everyone around you, the AOE heal of Groupies is just plain sick.
I hope Blizz implements more detailed post game stats so I can see these sorts of things.
