We end up losing first few teamfights (map is immortals). Things kinda get ugly in chat with ETC blaming us for being crybaby's for blaming them not picking support. Says we shouldve played safe till 13 but our 2 tanks go charging in to every teamfight. These guys were lvl 12 and 14 hero league, I'm 14 myself. I mean I'm no pro but c'mon if you play hero league adjust to whatever your team needs. So frustrating just giving auto losses by guys picking stupid picks

The next 20 minutes was a constant stream of teammates diving into an enemy deathball under our immortal one at a time and us losing without ever taking a fort from them. After charging in and dying, they blame ME for having a full health/mana bar and not charging in after they died.

Welcome to my life in rank 30. stuff like this does never stop i feel... -had a game with no warrior, last pick trollpicked illidan, map was garden of terror... we still won, wasn't easy (HL 10) -had a game with no support and lots of squishies (kael, jaina, valla, johanna, sonya) map was infernal shrines... got so far ahead in the early game that it snowballed out of control in the late game... easy win (HL 9)

My team: 3 assassins 2 specialists (murky and abathur) Their team: 3 assassins 2 specialists (no murky no abathur) I guess very few people queue as support / warrior :-( We were lucky enough to have decents abathur and murky, not good but decent. So we lost till late game and then snowballed very hard.

Dragon shire, only 1 keep down, but 2 levels behind. Our medic says "let them end". End... as in wait for the enemy team to get another dk, destroy an inner keep and core if they realize what is going on. He did stopped healing and was just killing creeps. Trying to point out it was not over was useless since it was over because it turned into a 5v4 with no support. Turns out she was mad at gazlowe and really wanted to stop playing, but moved to not get kicked, i assume. edit: I am considering the use of mute all function. Since most useful info is pinged i believe there is more negative comments in chat than constructive/useful information. It saves me from the distration and overall bad experience in chat for few to no loss.

Abathur can continue to shoot spines while Murky is in his bubble, so if he goes full bubble build, there's actually an insane amount of damage output that comes from that duo over time.

It saves me from the distration and overall bad experience in chat for few to no loss. I've had people who think the game is over at level 3. People who, if you don't get first tribute on Cursed Hollow, if the other team gets a quick pay on Blackheart's Bay... they act like the game is over. However, I don't like the mute all function. On occasion, genuinely useful information is conveyed. And sometimes, you may be in the wrong, and people will tell you. Playing in a vaccuum is depriving yourself of a lot of useful growth. That said, you do have to have thick skin to sift through all the shit. I've found that being chirpy tends to spread to the rest of the team. I recently asked a Sonya to marry me right now because I could never love anyone that much after she saved me with a body block, for example. It's the little things. Having said that, I remember one game where we were a level or two behind but managed to get a clutch engagement and win a fight to stop them getting curse. I typed 'gj guys' and our Hammer promptly told me to stfu (in even less polite terms) and blocked me. There's no winning with some people. I dream that one day I will have reported every single toxic player on the entire server and the game will be bliss because I won't have to play with anyone.

Especially in QM where people have trouble dealing with competent specialists! About the mute discussion, I now mute people who tend to whine a bit too much early game, and I tell them so that they don't waste their time typing. I add "typing is losing" which is true. Sometimes they stop talking and actually play. I use it more and more. I think being told you're muted really is a cold shower, it calms you quickly as you basically know it's useless to type anymore. But I don't think disabling chat is a good idea. In HL Lobby it's important to be able to talk, and even early game ("I solo", "healer tank go mid", "i'll roam, ping if you need me", "pink Tyrande rocks"...). edit: MORE RAGE! Just played a game and my mouse died (Razer :-( ). And it's not like you know your mouse died. No you feel all is lagging around you (1 click out of 10 worked), you can't select things but sometimes it works, you can't drag and drop so I thought my computer crashed. I turned it off using the power switch. Then rebooted once more to make sure. It took 8 full minutes for me to understand the problem, the game was already lost, 3 people reported me although I warned I had a big computer problem and I had to play a "quitter game". Yay.

Even if Zeratul could only cast it at melee range it would still be OP as hell because he can Blink and then cast it. An otherwise decent game ruined by a Zeratul just blinking in, throwing VP and the teamfight was won. Oh, and players that only do mercs/lanes and avoid every team fight. I hate those too. It isn't damn single player. EDIT: Sigh, 4 HL losses in a row, each with a clear cause, the first being the enemy team having a good Zeratul landing his Void Prisons properly, the other three being that one single ally on your team that just has no idea how to play their hero. Had a Diablo in game 2, Sylvanas in game 3 and Jaina in game 4 which all had completely random horrible builds (Sylvanas player was the worst one, I'm surprised she didn't go Possession to round out getting the worst talents in for each level) but also horrible decision making. Running solo 1v5 into the enemy team, focusing only on mercs or just not knowing when to fall back. They just keep running into the meatgrinder over and over. The other end of the spectrum is the hero playing single player which Sylvanas was doing. The entire team was around 16 takedowns, she was on 5 and had even more deaths. Never took part in a teamfight. The worst part was that said player had Sylvanas at lvl 14 and according to Hotslogs, always picks those horrible talents such as the trait talent on lvl 1 that destroys ammo or the 13 talent for the slow when we have a jaina and muradin to provide slows already. How can you seriously have a hero at lvl 14 and still pick the worst talents? Even the tiniest bit of research into your hero would reveal the better talents for the given map and team composition. Also, I realized there can be no late game on Sky Temple. Once the keeps are down and two temples activate, the enemy team automatically wins. They can just go to whatever temple doesn't have 5 heroes on it and blast the core. If you try to rotate, they'll send one hero down to do the same.

The worst happened in the last game I played. Finally we have good comp on infernal shrines... We started pretty well and in the first shrine we had a pretty comfortable lead - 20ish minions. All of a sudden the server went apeshit and me(sylvanas) and valla got disconnected. Nobody else. Just 2 from my team. Well, we lost the first shrine and from there it was a downhill with the occasional disconnects in important fights. So yeah, ty Blizzard. Also I really need map bans. Can't stand some maps, but the winner of all is Garden... Jesus, do I hate that map. Every time I see it, I just want to leave the game. Blizzard has to admit that some of their maps are complete dogshit. The players should be able to decide which maps they want play. Just like in SC2 or CS:GO. EDIT: I forgot to mention the reconnect system in this game. This is for sure the worst solution to diconnects/reconnects I've ever seen. I mean come on. Dota 2, League of legends, random LoL clones - they all have pretty decent reconnect feature. On the other hand, Blizzard decides that in order to reconnect you have to "catch up" to the server... Sometimes you cant even reconnect in time, because the games are just too short and when your team is 1 man down - even shorter. And the worst part is that they are not even mentioning it as a problem... I guess for them it's fine... The game still makes money and Overwatch is comming anyways so whatever.

Next game we get Infernal Shrines, but we are playing against that Nazeebo from our first game, he also picked Nazeebo there. We went for Butcher + Tyrande combo and had solid first few minutes, then things started to fall apart a little bit. We lost first 3(I think) Punishers but they didn't have that huge lead. After that we got to the 4th or 5th shrine, even though we were 4v5 since our Raynor died, and we managed to stun-lock their Uther with Butcher, Anub and Tyrande and kill him. From that moment I knew that we have won that game just because of the fact that enemy had that Nazeebo, and that he probably had killed their motivation to play with constant toxic flaming. I can ignore guys like these but usually there is 1-2 guys in the team that can't and keep arguing with them while your core is falling down.

And if I see other players typing and I'm guessing they type him, I say "Please just mute him like I did.". Again it often works. Of course typing advices, hints, or strategies is good, as long as you don't make people waste precious APMs. :-) Last time I ran into this kind of guy, it was a Raynor who didn't play bad but destroyed the whole team by typing all game. After game I explained to him it was him who cost us the game, not the bad players (even if they contributed a lot) and he kept saying "look at my stats, thank you". 3 or 4 times. Then I told him if he loves numbers so much just look at my rank (7 or 8 and he was 15). That was stupid of me but I felt better. :D If you want to type to these guys, wait AFTER the game is my advice.
