Exhibit 1: Claims to play healer and only has Lili Exhibit 2: Picks Malf after Lili was already chosen on our team Exhibit 3: Go ham into a 1v5 sitation (say what?) Exhibit 4: Not attack the boss while the other team is preoccupied with temple. Countless other examples but then I'd be here all day

Every time i have a Gazlowe and we end up winning, i feel like i'm the best player in the fucking world. Like nothing describes it better than carrying some guy 4v5 while watching him clear every camp and never ever going into a team-fight :3 And best Gazlowe's go robo-goblin, that way you'll prove more useful than ever!

But yeah winning with a gazlow on your team feels like you just pushed a mountain out of the way. Unless it is black hearts bay of course.

Gazlowe, Azmodan, and Nova players are the absolute worst when it comes to yolo picking. I've had three games today, and in each, some retard on my team picked one of those heroes: Gazlowe on Tomb of the Spider Queen (which is just a fucking stupid pick for that map), Azmodan on Blackhearts Bay (when we needed ranged DPS badly, and who did nothing but AFK push in lane -- but somehow he's rank 1), and Nova on Dragon Shire (after I picked Zeratul and we're in need of sustained DPS, she grabs Nova). In each case, the pick and play put my teams in hugely disadvantaged situations. In spite of the predictably horrible Nova, I carried my team that game, but got predictably stomped in the other two games. At my ~25 HL, Illidans are pretty dumb and they'll go yolo off by themselves and chase until they die. No amount of good decision making can compensate for stupid

The difference is that Illidan is so powerful when used correctly that he can fit reasonably well into most any comp. You can't say the same about Gazlowe, Azmodan, and Nova. They're all too one-dimensional. That said, I have raged plenty of times at retarded Illidan picks. "What's that? Enemy team has Brightwing and Muradin, and our team has Malfurion and no real ranged damage? ILLIDAN TO THE RESCUE!"

Haha yeah when I see questionable hero picks, I know I have to baby them during the match. They are typically beyond saving though. Might be off topic but I just had a nice comeback game where we were down to 1 keep vs 3 keeps and 2 forts and managed to turn it around with good team fights. Good communication and team work goes a long way ![]()

The problem with Gazlowe is that he has almost zero presence in teamfights unless the fight is constrained to a limited area. His turrets, while they hurt, are too immobile. His laser is worthless. His stun bombs have such a retardedly long fuse that they are basically worthless, too. Grav-o-bomb is good, but it is tough as shit to actually land effectively. It is even harder to land in conjunction with the stun bombs. More often than not, Gazlowe players are going to whiff on the combo. And when they do, they're basically useless in the fight going forward. So what are you actually picking Gazlowe for? There are plenty of other heroes that can effectively wave clear and cap merc camps, while actually presenting a threat in team fights. Gazlowe is just a shit hero 95% of the time. Don't get me wrong: I love seeing and playing with good Gazlowe players who can actually land their combos properly. But good luck finding one of those. You're almost more likely to see a unicorn.

That's exactly what I do. :-) BTW I'm tired to justify myself every 2 or 3 damn game picking Nova. There're good Novas, I'm very often the best kill / death ratio on the field, even when we're losing. Another rage rant, I've just lost a game where we stomped the other team all game and around the 15 min mark all guys on my team start playing god-mode. You know, "I'm invicible, why don't I go 1v4 all the time". We're slain ganking them on boss (which is the lamest thing to do) with Illidan not coming at all because you know level 16 vs 17 the game is so lost. So boss + all team cleared = opponent stomps our base. And we really crushed them bad during 15 minutes, they weren't even good, but my teammates started playing like the opponent was AIs. That moment you feel you're the only one on the team who doesn't take die all the time, you're really pi ssed.
