It's also called a sense of understanding of the product to come. We now know which franchises they will include at least in release (Warcraft, Diablo, and Starcraft) so we most likely won't see Lost Vikings characters, as an example. Since they're officially split from Activision, it's also a statement that despite removing the "Blizzard" title from the name of the brand, that we won't see Activision brands in the game as well. Their letting a community member leak the product information shows the grassroots style in which the want the product to body ala hearthstone. Etc... It says a lot about the direction they want to go with the product. It's a lot more than optimism. The same can't be said for the pessimism on this thread. | ||

Heroes of the Storm is abstract enough that they can add whatever new characters they like because its not literally the all stars of blizzard. It means they will add more characters and items down the road and not all of them will be based on Blizz canon. | ||
