Warlock will need to get some really good spells. That's what I thought it was at first, in which case Jaraxxus and Alexstrasza came to mind as pretty nuts. With spells only, Siphon Soul I guess?

Thaurissan on 6, coin Rafaam on 7, Cho+Arcane is normally 10 but reduces to 8 with the single activation. We did it team!

Lots of interesting possibilities for big tempo swing turns. I think it'll be a staple of Renolock decks, likely filling the Dr Boom slot. Maybe Zoo, too, though unlikely. Handlock definitely not.

Mine has scaling: start at 14 damage from hand (with the added bonus of leaving a 14/12 on the field!) and only goes up from there. As a bonus, you can play Rafaam for other purposes, along with Cho'Gall, and you can also play Arcane Golem on its own. Flexibility! ...No, I don't think this will actually be used.

if we ignore the loss of chogall as a body (he ends up being replaced by a card from your deck) it effectively makes doom cost 7 mana and 10 health, in theory there are certain situations where that cost is preferable to 10 mana, but taking 10 damage in those situations will probably very nearly kill yourself. maybe in reno decks. chogall+shadowflame = 2 card super flamestrike with a slightly subpar crackle to your own face i guess.

Cho'Gall->Bane of Doom? Twisting Nether in a desperate game vs aggro (in a Reno deck, ofc)? Hellfire, for a 7/4+board clear? Lots of interesting possibilities for big tempo swing turns. With 2x Siphon Soul, 2x Molten Giant and Shadowflame, there should be decent synergy. Thinking mostly in Standard as a dr. Boom replacement. 2x Siphon is probably too weak in Wild as well with all the deathrattles.

This was what I was thinking as well with the current pool of warlock spells the only one really worth pushing with this effect is Siphon Soul and the only deck that can afford to run 2 of it is Handlock in standard where it "might" be possible to get away with being that slow. Shadowflame is of course acceptable to cheat as well if you have to but that's really it with regards to cards that justify putting chogall in your deck barring something crazy from the current expansion.

You could co Cho'Gall Hellfire, though that'll be very risky if you weren't slightly in Molten Range already or when you don't have a Sunfury. 10-13 Damage from hand will probably still be around in those type of decks. It also looks bad against things with more than 3 life.

I think i will craft lorewalker cho only to make a cho-saron troll deck. What about spells that target enemy specifically, do they become global random too? like the hunter card that destroys a random enemy minion? Or untargetable board clears, can they be cast on your board too? Or isi t just spells like fireball that actually give a target choice? If that is so then it's not as bad as it could be because any board clear will 100% be in your favor. And what about arcane intellect? can it give it to your opponent or do you always draw the 2 cards? Can he cast the coin?
