Today I got mage and I'm currently at 7-0. Disgusting how easy they are in arena compared to hunters/priests. Draft isn't insanely good just a fine draft imo for 7 wins. Expecting to go 3 losses now. Oh and my previous arena with priest (ended 3-3) got me a new legendary Archmage Antonidas. Hoping to get Tirion / Sylvanas / Nat Pagle / The Black Knight seeing those are the legendaries I still need for constructed. | ||

Kind of sucks to play shaman without hex though... edit: 4-3, got wrecked by 2 pallys with Conc+Equality blowouts and then rogue with double argent commander. maybe i'm just bad maybe no hexes really is a huge handicap | ||

Nothing scares me if i was playing against you. the 2 fire ele's are great... but you need like 4 or 5 to get 12. Shaman is average tier so you need good cards. no earth ele's | ||

Lost to a druid with pretty insane deck. Swiped 4x, wrathx3, 2x azure drake, ancient of lorex2. 9 wins now. Beat a mage with 3 flamestrikes. Feels really, really good, although part of it was him playing around a flamestrike I don't have. How the fuck do people lose to me with 3 frost bolt, 3 fireball, 2 flamestrike, etc. in a mage deck? 10 wins now. 11 wins. Somehow with this "terrible" mage deck I hit this point. | ||

Then 4-3 with a Druid deck I thought was pretty decent (it was.) I just got steamrolled by two godly shaman decks. Then I run into another druid who coins & innervate a yeti and throws a party on the board for all his minions. Could not get none of my three swipes etc. and was drawing shat. | ||

1st game I deserved to lose. I miscalculated the damage from reckless rocketeer. 2nd game my opponent had like 3 or 4 fireballs. He used 2 on my face with a frost bolt and ice lance... His deck felt like constructed because he'd put up a few minions and the mirror entities and then go for my face, and as soon as he lost board control, I'd be low enough to finish off with fireballs. I suck at priest I guess. The question during the last game was whether to play my 2x northshire clerics and 2x power word shields. PW shield is a card cycle so I consider it an ok card. But the northshires themselves are so weak that I didn't bother. I wanted to wait until I had a good chance to card draw later. That chance never came. I feel like northshire clerics are sorta weak unless you have a way to trigger mass heals. Maybe through northshire cleric into bomber into holy nova. Northshire clerics are dead cards unlike maybe cult master who does equally well at card draw in high minion decks. Anyways his start was not as slow with a 4/7 Twilight Drake. Still > 50% :D | ||

Why would you pick aggressive decks with no limit on aoe spells, right? I basically lost all my games to Argent Crusader+X because I took too much damage early. Every time. Did I face some lucky draws by my opponents or am I being greedy? | ||

Ah well, was pretty satisfied with 9-3. # Naturalize won me like 3 games on it's own and I thought it was a bad pick. Even one crazy game where my opponent was out of cards and put an abom down next to his cultist. I naturalized the abom and chuckled as he took 12 damage from fatigue/abom. | ||
