![]() Only weak spot was a slight lack of solid 2 drops, but completely unstoppable in the lategame. Was able to double shadowform several times which is just stupid. Handy tip: You can heal 2, then activate shadowform and use the damage immediatly. Or shadowform for 2dmg, then shadowform again and use the 3dmg immediatly. Or if you stole an innervate from a druid you could heal 2, shadowform 2dmg, shadowform 3dmg lol. All I had to do was make it to late and stomp any topdeck war with double MC and insanely value shadowform damage whenever I wanted. There is a reason mage only gets 1 dmg power. My last game vs a priest I mind visioned a holy nova and had 4 in my hand lul.

Im kinda dissapointed about getting random Golden Commons all the time, Right Now I'm 8-2 again and got a question, If i retire do I get gold for 8 wins? How does it even work? Edit: Decided to play on and lost last game anyway, 245 gold. you get on average more gold for 8 wins, 9 wins gets you the gold card or an extra pack

![]() Aldor Peacekeeper is a very good card, especially combined with crazed alchemist, managed to trade my 1/1 for 8/8 giant against Warlock and for 7/6 Venture Co. against Priest.

Feral is playable on turn 3 with at least a totem to follow up the overload, and a great deal if drawn later on. Will see how this one works out. 2) Youthful Brewmaster – River Crocolisk – SCARLET CRUSADER 3) Bloodlust – Frost Elemental – WINDSPEAKER Bloodlust is only good with board advantage. Frosty feels a little weak for 6 mana. Windspeaker may be an error if I don’t pull anything too fat, but I’m fond of aggressive battlecries and 3-3 is not that bad. 4) Ironbeak Owl – SILVER HAND KNIGHT – Magma Rager 5) Totemic might – Windfury – HEX 6) Raid Leader – Murloc Raider – IRONBEAK OWL Owl feels stronger for situations where I am behind. Would have considered raid leader if I already had a silence or two. 7) LIGHTNING BOLT – Windfury – Forked Lightning Lightning bolt is more flexible, I guess? 8) IRONBEAK OWL – Mogushan Warden – Tauren Warrior 9) Tauren Warrior – ARGENT SQUIRE – Stonetusk Boar 10) Abomination – LIGHTNING STORM – Mana Wraith 11) FROSTWOLF GRUNT – Dread Corsair – Windspeaker Least evil, I suppose. I need more 2s, corsair is junk, and I don’t have anything too fat to justify a second windspeaker. 12) Silverback Patriarch – Frost Shock – BLOODSAIL RAIDER Again, least evil 13) STORMFORGED AXE – Harvest Golem – Tazdingo Such delicious choices. Axe gives card advantage, I guess. 14) Stormwind Champion – Lightning Bolt – VENTURE CO MERCENARY Seems like an easy choice, and I have two owls to silence the mercenary on subsequent turns if necessary. 15) Far Sight – Molten Giant – DOOMHAMMER 16) Thrallmar Farseer – Young Dragonhawk – STORMFORGED AXE 17) Razorfen Hunter – Forked Lightning – SILVERMOON GUARDIAN I have only one crappy 4, lots of removal, and two 3s. Hunter might have been better. 18) Stranglethorn Tiger – UNBOUND ELEMENTAL – Southsea Deckhand Questionable, but I need more 3s. Would take tiger if I had more low-cost creatures in the deck. 19) Voodoo Doctor – Spiteful Smith – SHATTERED SUN CLERIC 20) MIND CONTROL TECH – Mana Addict – Lightwarden Least bad of the three. 21) LAVA BURST – Feral Spirit – Ancient Watcher Removal or a finisher. Yes please. 22) Doomsayer – Far Sight – DOOMHAMMER 23) FORKED LIGHTNING – Dust Devil – Spiteful Smith The smith might be worthwhile but I have a pile of 5s already. 24) RECKLESS ROCKETEER – Stonetusk Boar – Youthful Brewmaster Rocketeer feels like a strong finisher in a close match. Brewmaster could very well be better. 25) Murloc Raider – FIRE ELEMENTAL – Reckless Rocketeer 26) UNBOUND ELEMENTAL – Dust Devil – Tauren Warrior 27) Razorfen Hunter – YOUTHFUL BREWMASTER – Murloc Raider 28) ANCESTRAL SPIRIT - Arcane Golem – Mind Control Tech Haven’t seen this card before, but the others are junky. 29) BLUEGILL WARRIOR – Elven Archer – Bloodlust 30) Mana Tide Totem – TWILIGHT DRAKE – Feral Spirit I would've picked Brewmaster on 24, since you don't have many "real" 2 drops, and probably Mogushan over second owl at 8. I would also have considered the Molten Giant over doomhammer at 15, since I don't feel that doomhammer isn't that good without rockbiters, and MG is a bit more stable so to speak.

Earthshock over flametongue totem is also imo a bad call, especially since you are lacking in early creatures and flametongue can make totems serviceable to patch that weakness. I would also have gone cobra over adventurer, as it is very strong in shaman decks as a cheap body which can trade with anything and makes you harder to break. You big problem is your shitty mana curve. You ended the draft with not one basic 2 drop creature....thats a recipe for getting gangbanged in the early game and being unrecoverable later as you have absolutely nothing to deal with several small creatures with no lightning storms. Basically you are relying on perfect amounts of removal (if you blow your lightning bolts on 2/2s you'll be fucked by overload and later game as well) and getting your stormforged axe and them not having any removal for your flametongues to even make it through the first 5 turns. An arena deck should have between 4-8 two-drops generally, based on class and amount of weapons and AOE removal. I definitely don't disagree, but what other 2s should I have picked? The loot hoarder on 14? Mana addict on 20? I'm not particularly sure what is worth it. Other than the mentioned flametongue and bloodsail

1 - Earth Shock, 2x Forked Lightning, Frost Shock, 2x Lightning Bolt, Southsea Deckhand 2 - River Crocolisk 3 - Feral Spirit, Hex, Lightning Storm, Demolisher, Harvest Golem, Ironfur Grizzly, Jungle Panther, Shattered Sun Cleric, Unbound Elemental, Wolfrider 4 - 2x Chillwind Yeti, 2x Cult Master, Gnomish Inventor 5 - Stampeding Kodo 6 - Argent Commander, 4x Fire Elemental 7 - Stormwind Champion This deck easily had the most bizarre curve I've drafted so far. Only one 2-drop and infinite 3s. I wasn't really expecting to do much with this deck, but the cheap Overload spells generally kept the board controlled early in the game and then Fire Elementals took over.

The deck: 1 - 2x Power Word: Shield, Northshire Cleric 2 - 2x Shadow Word: Pain, Amani Beserker, Faerie Dragon, Master Swordsmith, Novice Engineer, River Crocolisk, Sunfury Protector, Youthful Brewmaster 3 - Shadow Word: Death, 2x Acolyte of Pain, Earthen Ring Farseer, Ironfur Grizzly, Raid Leader, Scarlet Crusader 4 - Shadow Madness, Cult Master, Lightspawn 5 - 2x Holy Nova, Azure Drake, Darkscale Healer, 6 - 2x Temple Enforcer 7+ - Stormwind Champion, Nozdormu Lost game 2 because I misplayed badly on turn 2 and never got board control back, and lost one other game when an MC tech stole my stormwind, but other than that, it was fairly straightforward. Between shadow words, shadow madness, and 2x nova I had a lot of removal and my endgame cards closed it out easily. Had one scare with a 9/9 turn 4 bloodknight that I ended up managing to deal with somehow. That card is a giant pain in the ass...
