fucking had an answer to everything I had.
In 9 turns, he played a total of: 2x flamestrike 2x arcane missiles 1x cone of cold 2x polymorph 2x mana wyrns 1x argent commander
so basically his plan was protect the mana wyrns while demolishing every single thing I had and continuously attacking face. sigh, sucks not drafting any consecrations/true silvers as a paladin.
Are you me? Just had the exact same experience as pally.

Forgetting to attack with a minion before pressing end turn. It's so stupid but it keeps happening to me occasionally.

I have a 3 /1 Mad Bomber, 2 guys (i'm Paladin) and a Knife Juggler. He topdecks Mind Control Tech, steals my Juggler, Jugglers ability triggers for whatever reason and kills my Bomber. Already the third time that shit happened to me. Can someone explain me why his ability triggers after being stolen????????? Makes no fucking sense to me "Oh i'm summoned, time to throw some knifes"
|
Battlecry --> Minion Lands --> Procs Knife Juggler ability since he's now on their side. That's consistent behavior with other battlecries, the cry finishes before the minion is actually "on" the board.
|
But his ability isn't a battlecry. He doesnt juggle knifes if hes played on the board but if other minions are played. I'm confused...
Edit: or does the Mind Control Tech trigger it? Edit 2: k i get it now i guess ..juggler is stolen before mind control tech is on the board so he actually does trigger it

Playing against a shaman in arena. Turn one he plays Dust Devil so I coin out a Mad Bomber. All 3 bombs hit my face. As he is overloaded by 2 he just attacks me and I'm down to 21hp. On my turn 2 I try my luck again with a new Mad Bomber. Two bombs hit my old mad bomber, killing him while the third hit my face. Down to 14hp and gg

Just played 3 games constructed then quit the game again. F**king credit card decks everywhere. Each opponent had the essential legendaries (Bloodmage Thalnos, Nat Pagle, Leeroy Jenkins, Cairne Bloodhoof, Sylvanas Windrunner, The Black Knight, Ragnaros) and when you have none of these, there just isn't much you can do unless you get extremely lucky.

As someone who has never spent a penny on this game and doesn't play arena it is completely possible to have 3-4 of the essential legendaries simply through dailies at this point. The F2P people who have been playing since the last wipe are starting to have as good of a card collection as those who have spent a lot of money on the game even if they aren't even good at the game (Ok in my case its because I abuse the system but I'm fairly unlucky with my packs).
I'm kinda hoping Blizzard lessens the card gap over time or I can see it being very intimidating for new players to come into a game where everyone already has the expert set for example or constructed is going to become pretty empty.

Hmm I'm not so sure. Granted, I can't play the game 8 hours a day because I'm a student but I've been playing a lot these last 4 months and I have 0 of those useful legendaries. I know a couple other people in the same position. And ONE guy who got 3 legendaries in 3 consecutive packs in his first 2 weeks of playing. It's all really just luck-based.

Whether I survive depends on my Knife Juggler hitting any of my opponent's 4 creatures (especially scarlet crusader). Summon 3 creatures and nothing hits. So Scarlet Crusader lives and I die.

So I thought tonight was a good time to play ranked--NOPE.
Every single deck I play against, coins out Nat Pagle and it draws consecutively EVERY TIME. If I had some replay function I would prove it to all of you. I have to waste Wrath or Fiery War Axe on him just to mitigate my card disadvantage.
Okay w/e, I resist being tilted. Playing Druid deck, no Innervates. Meanwhile my opponents open up with nuts Buzzard UTH or Feral Spirits and Mana Tide Totem. W/e thats fine, luck just isnt on my side for now.
Now I dropped to rank 7, I play against this shitty ass Warlock. Soulfires turn one to kill my Harvest Golem then Mortal Coils the token. Im like, "Wow, I just won". NOPE. Perfect Murloc drops: Murloc Warleader and Bluegill Warriors up the wazoo. Wrecks my face in. I fucking lose it. I wanna punch the shit out of my wall. Fuck this endless string of unfortunate games.
EVERYTIME I SWITCH DECKS TO CONTROL I GO AGAINST GIANT LOCKS. EVERYTIME I GO AGGRO I GO AGAINST WATCHER CONTROL. NEVER SAW MY PAGLE BEFORE TURN 5. NEVER SAW AN INNERVATE. NEVER SAW A FROTHING BERSERKER. GAME WOULD BE TOO EASY IF I HAD THOSE CARDS.
|
I faced a mage who played Flamestrike turns 7 and 9, played Antonidas and Frost Nova turn 10, another flamestrike turn 11 and this guy tried 4 or 5 times to Fireblast or attack stealth minions. It felt unfair.
Edit : and next game I face Ysera with my no hex Shaman deck And last loss to a turn 1 yeti, not only it was a shitty deck, but it was cursed!
|
Hunters are absolutely retarded to play against, aggro or control. UTH makes it almost impossible to have more than 2 minions out. You know, actually playing the game.
It's not even that my win percentage against them is terrible, but it's just colossally unfun to play against.

This is the QQ thread and not the unsolicited advice thread, but you really shouldn't be hung up on legendaries. Trump got to Legend on EU with a very control-oriented mage deck without spending a dime. Same for Reynad and his beatdown warrior. And half the people in Legend are playing charge huntard, although I don't blame you for not wanting to play that.
Shamans are also pretty competitive with almost nothing but their class cards.
I find that legendaries are rather poor in the current aggro-heavy meta, because they don't really do much to stop the early momentum.

Clearly you've never been matched up against me, my Pagle has like a 5% success rate.

I find that three is fine if you have two big taunts up but that's at a stretch since Leeroy UTH makes five hounds, couple that with two timberwolfs and you've got a disaster.
I like playing against UTH but I hate it at the same time.
|
can something be done about Molten Giants? like even I run them and I think they're stupid as fuck. even dumber for warlocks.
|
Playing UTH aggro hunters are fine with me, at least they take you to the mid game. But playing against aggro murlock, they just straight up rush you with everything and it is very unfun to play against.

I have a deck built for every class except Hunter and Mage.
I logon today and the quest I see? Hunter or Mage Victory, 40g.
Yeah fuck you too, Hearthstone.

cancel that quest and you should get a new one
