There's not a whole lot of tricky things you can do and sequencing isn't quite as important given the lack of phases. I dunno, thoughts from anyone with my background? I have played almost every worthy card gamethat has been in the last 10 years (mtg, L5R, VS, Netrunner to name just a few) and Herthstone certainly looks simple and without a deep resource management. But I think that is what atracts me to it at the moment, I want to play something simple xD.
Even pokemon had a more complex resource management

well its a lot more fast paced and arcady that way. I think that attracts a lot of people.
hearthstone to mgt is like lol to sc2 i dare to say.
chanmanv just spent 70$ in hearthstone... looool... f2p ftw! already spent more than for any regular game.

I mean LoL started its beta with like 15 champions and now they have 10 times the amount, I guess more cards and features will be put in as Blizz can think of them

It could turn out to be pretty good if they had stuff tho.
There are 489 cards if http://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Cards is accurate. Also refer to the "abilities" section when mentioning a lack of mechanics.
That is a massive amount for just being released. I'm really looking forward to trying out the Arena. People can say there is a lack of depth but I disagree completely when you have a drafting system as accessible as this. I was checking out Artosis play last night and he was dominating the regular constructed play when he purchased 40 boosters but him, along with Day9 lost quite easily in the Arena.
MTG is great and all but it's too expensive. I have also dropped at least 100 hours into Scrolls and can say with confidence that I will enjoy Hearthstone far more simply because of the Arena.

Arena seems to be the only way to go though this "cheaply"
highest reward payout, mmm cardlist it seems like you can stop people without the expert cards pretty easily. I actually like paladin using his ability as 2 drops to gum up early game so that you're all mid to late game seems to work pretty well so far

I'm dying for a beta key. Stupid me didn't have any of my battle.net accounts opted in. I've never played a CCG before but watching streams of this is ADDICTING as fuck.

oh nm I see its from crafting stuff Yeah you can also craft anything i think(i haven't crafted anything yet so haven't tested crafting cards not in my library), you just have to go to all cards instead of my cards but shit is crazy expensive to craft, i think it's like 40 for white, 100 for blue, 400 for purple and 1600 for orange

I think you get more for discarding rare cards and stuff, so if you for some reason have shit luck and draw 3 blue cards you can get a new blue or purple one quicker.
It's good to have nice and expensive purple and orange cards though, otherwise people would just saturate them with all their spare arcane dust

You get it carried over post beta wipe i think it's they give you the equivalent packs to w.e you spent in money, but i saw some streams of people buying like 200 packs and you only get like 15-20 legendaries off a 250 dollar purchase.

Man, looks fun. I hope they put out more waves soon.

Yeah I really want to play this.

Ahh i want a beta key so bad : <
Heyoka, you said mage looks the best and i agree. What do you think of this list?
Mono Blue Control
None of the "freeze" stuff, i don't think its good with only the cards out at least. Sorting by mana cost on that site makes it easier to look at btw.
