This game reminds me a lot of 'Shadow Era'. Though I have to say that it is better because the creatues actually deal damage at the same time so the power of initiation is not too strong.
Otherwise it does not seem very exciting as the interactions between the players are very limited. Though this is compared to MtG.

It looks fun based on the streams and stuff. It is suppose to be on IOS too right? I'd rather have it on my Ipad to play a quick match when I have downtime.

The game looks cool, but im a little afraid that there isn't a lot of cards to choose from (from what i've seen of it on JP's Stream). The mechanics aint very deep either (especially the ressource management).

It could turn out to be pretty good if they had stuff tho.

hmm i dont enjoy watching peoples stream that much. It looks fun, but some people play it so arcady and fast so that they screw up everything and play their cards in the worst possible way.. :D

just really frustrating to watch :D

Yea, it can be very frustrating to Watch someone play this. Especially when they are doing a lot of obvious errors like Day9 and JP. But oh well, I still enjoy it.

From playing a ton of MTG and kicking around with Solforge and Scrolls, this seems just way too simplistic for me. There's not a whole lot of tricky things you can do and sequencing isn't quite as important given the lack of phases. I dunno, thoughts from anyone with my background?

there doesn't seem to be any instants which is unfortunate. the closest thing is traps but those trigger automatically on x condition so you're still not responding to anything. I can see why they cut it since it makes things a lot more complicated but still.

One change that I would like to see, again drawing on my MTG experiences, would be to allow you to keep the cards you draft (the 30 you use, not all 90 you pick from). The purpose behind this is in the real life drafts I did (I wasn't great so I only ever did a few), you buy in and then you try to win with your deck and win the prize, simple enough. However, you could either build a deck around winning, or if you got lucky and got some really good rares/cards you needed for a non-draft deck, you could pick those and just throw together a deck and at the end you got to keep them. I'd almost like to see them raise the price of arena (drafting) , but allow the player to keep the cards he uses in his deck. This gives them the choice of either playing for best chance of winning games, or adding cards to their decks that they might not have/really want.
