So basically, if you are correct, there are two cars faster than the bugatti, and that makes the bugatti a "TOTAL PIECE OF SHIT"? Obviously, the car has a certain degree of mechanical and engineering brilliance.

Your argument about the bugatti being a financial flop is completely stupid because you obviously didnt read my post, just saw "bugatti" and started replying. The bugatti is a very refined car. It has prestige. Were I given the choice to receive any car in the world for free, I'd choose the bugattie. I doubt anyone would call me a dumbass for doing so.

As of now, the bugatti is the fastest road car, and its record may or may not be broken at the world speed record in may 2007. Keep in mind that its highest speed is actually electronically limited. It also has the fastest tested 0-60mph (2.45 seconds), vs the aeros claimed 2.8 seconds and the koeniseggs 3.2 seconds. Also, I'm not sure if the aero TT (the newest model) is actually in production yet. The bugatti also has the best braking of the three, and wouldnt you say that would count in a race around a track?

That Andy Frost guy customized his car to 2200bhp, 0-60 in 1 second, for just 100,000 pounds. Compare that to the bugattis cost of 5,000,000 pounds per car. Its obvious the bugatti has a lot more to it than sheer speed, bhp, and a W16. Although I'm no car expert, so I cant comment on specifics, but obviously you arent either, since your opinion is the complete opposite of every well known expert I know of.

Finally, this isnt a thread about the best car or whatever. You dont see me shitting on other peoples choices just because the bugatti is "faster" than them. I could love a civic if I wanted to.

To me, driving is not such a pleasant hobby with all the rules and regulations. I'd rather rent a fast car on a circuit for one day a year and totally get my kicks out of that. For a normal car, one that doesn't require much work, is safe and comfortable would be most important.

as i said extracting only 1000HP out of 16 fucking cylinders and 4 turbos is pathetic, the Koenissegg produces 800 with less than half of that.

And mainly it sucks because its a fucking luxury touring car just like the Mercedes SLR... they are fast... but they are simply too heavy and when they are put in the track against some real racing cars they are obivously obliterated.


actually just by watching the car you can deduce its a touring car, not a racing car.
