The Arial Atom has 450 kgs and 350 BHP. Not equal to that one but close, and it's been beaten by the Enzo, Koeniggsegg, and a few more. Need I say that the veyron totally trashes the enzo / koenniggsegg? The power:weight ratio is not the most important thing. If you go for a straight line race, the veyron accelerates faster than F1 cars (did you see the test they did up to 250 mph?, it went up from 120 mph to 200 mph like it was going from 0-100, that's fking SICK)... And on a track, the bugatti is hella-balanced and has great breaks. It would SMOKE that toy-car coming out of corners and on straights, and I bet it's even able to break later. Holy shit, you've got to be kidding me, did you even look at the stats? Those numbers are very, VERY close to the Veyron. There is no way you can compare the T1 to an Ariel Atom, the Atom only has 300bhp while the T1 has 480bhp, not much difference? That's nearly 200bhp, not to mention the T1 has unmatched aerodynamics and probably much more torque. Power-to-weight ratio IS the most important thing, you just have to take it into context. A car that weighs 1000lbs with a power to weigh ratio of 500bhp per ton will utterly outperform a 2 ton car that has a power to weight ratio of 500bhp per ton. Why? Because around the track the 2 ton car will feel it's weight during cornering, as will the 1000lb car, but 2 tons around a track is much harder. Veyron smoking the T1? You have GOT to be kidding me, did you even look at the G's it can pull? The T1 could probably DIVE into a corner at like 80 without even flinching, for reference F1 cars pull 4+ g's, the T1 pulls 3+. Break later than the T1? What the hell is wrong with you, the Veyron weighs 3 THOUSAND pounds heavier, it doesn't matter if the brakes are the size of the wheels, it's NOT going to break later than something 1/3 of it's weight which also has tremendous amount of downforce, at the very least it will break on par, if not better, than the Veyron. The Veyron, under hard breaking will probably experience more understeer than the T1, it has 2 TONS of car pushing on the front wheels. Who cares if the Bugatti can out run an F1 in a straight, if it even can, take it around the track with an F1, absolutely no comparison. Let's recap: -Nearly same stats -3000 lbs less -More downforce -More g's -T1 is probably the closest car to F1 performance ever And you say the Veyron will smoke the "toy-car"? | ||
