![]() I am honestly scared for the next 5 years now with the abuse SNP will give the government in westminster. They are going there to "rock the boat" to put it nicely and well i have no idea what is going to happen.

I woke up at 5:30 at a perfect time to see Miliband speech of defeat and then Cameron's boyish speech of victory in how hard they fought. My surprise though is how much votes (not seats) UKIP actually managed to generate. My Worcestershire MPs have 3 seats, out of the 3 votes, 2 of them had UKIP candidate finishing 2nd! Crazy 37 counts to go and Conservative still need 22 more MPs for a majority!

It is the biggest blow in history to Lib Dems and a huge Scottish swing to SNP to oust Labour of a huge majority of seats. Quite an exciting night. Physical seats they targeted like 5 and are on course for 2 of these which is not good i agree. But all the experts and analysts are calling it a huge rise in votes and how they are unlucky not to have more seats.

Better than a Labour majority at this time, better than a coalition and hopefully with more devolution of powers the SNP won't cause too much trouble outside of Scotland. This would be ideal but wont happen mainly due to SNP leader "cannot stand" conservatives at all. It's sad that this is going to cause problems again and in 2016 an important year for SNP as some of its voters will demand a referendum again but the SNP leader said she does not want to give that. So it could get very ugly.

The only thing worse than a Tory majority would be a UKIP majority imo. I'm struggling to think of anything in the past 5 years that I've approved of the government doing. Would Labour do much better? I'm sceptical but at least they show some semblance of caring for those who aren't as well off.

I didn't even know the UK had a Green party until just now when I saw they got 1 seat. Woo! So who is the most ecologically minded party out of your big ones?

Out of Labour and Conservatives... well neither really. They both put a few sops to environmentalists in their manifestos and then they try not to talk about the environment.
