Now that we're talking organ music... unlikely this is what you're looking for, but you never know. More like a repeated motif than a repeated note. The only problem with organ music is that it translates so poorly into recorded music. I want to feel those bass notes in my bones! | ||

Just some questions: was it a familiar melody? do you recognize the style? (various classical composers have wildly different styles) was it part of some bigger orchestral piece or piano piece? | ||

That would explain the stormy feeling I guess and he does hit the same note over and over for a lenghty portion of the song to emulate the constant sound of the rain... | ||
