Now going through this thread for some recipes that accommodate my scarcity of ingredients and laziness in cooking. I hope you remembered to swing by the cashier as you "jetted" out of there.

Jappagetti?
Its pretty damned good :D
I tried both, of course the original (home made/restaurant) JaJangMyun is waaay better, Jappaguetti is a nice instant meal to take a break from Shin Ramen =P

I have these instant jajjang packets that I put on top of my ramyun noodles and make jajjangmyun with and daaaaamn that shit is dope

this thread is amazing O_O i usually eat my ramen with egg and peanuts, but now i have so much more to try!
|
Peanuts? waaaaaaaaaaa? Everyone should post a picture when they make their ramen
|
Any sort of dairy in Ramyun is blasphemy!!
All Ramyun defilers will burn in Hell IMO

this is how its done

I boil the water in a Wok, then put in veggies and meats. Then I put in the ramen, and finally 3 whisked eggs . WHen it's done, the water should be mostly evaporated, leaving an incredibly soft, bouncy tasty ramen with veggies and spicy sausage, and ofc the wonderful fluffy eggs. OMG I'm gonna go make one right now brb.

I also usually sprinkle some of the flavor packet on the top. I never cook it. I used to do this in elementary school lol! so true...so much of my childhood. probably been said already, but there's a snack in korea that is exactly that. edit: also, this is the best cup ramen brand in my opinion: ![[image loading]](http://img3.ak.crunchyroll.com/i/spire2/26796751d1f80f6318fd0cc56a2fbf821230964378_full.jpg) I definitely second this. This shit is so gooooood mmm, I haven't eaten yet (but I'm about to) and ramen sounds sooo good right now mmm.

I eat the spicy Shin Ramyun and I like to add less water than usual for less soup and more spice. Add an egg, then a slice of cheese on top and you're golden.

Remove the Cheese THEN your golden!!
try adding rice to some leftover soup for more ramen flavor goodness!! also ramen + kimchi + egg + rice all boiled in one pot = kimchi-ramen-jook its freaking amazing the rice absorbs the flavor of the ramen broth and you get a mish mosh of ramen noodles and rice thats in a goopy delicious consistency, alot like oatmeal consistency but tastes MUCH MUCH better than oatmeal obviously

Hot Chili Powder + Ginger + Onions + Garlic + Soy Sauce (Kikoman)
=
Epic Soup.

I just put some fuckin mixed vegetables and cheese in there everythings better with some cheese
|
Korean style ramen is an abomination.
No subtlety whatsoever, just overpowering salt and chili water.
Ramen in Japan and China is a whole different animal, with subtle meat stock broths, specially cured eggs, specially cooked beansprouts, slices of fatty meat etc.
