Here are some recommendation for ramen I had recently.

Prima Taste

Every flavor is pretty good, I can't pick out a favorite. The noodles themselves are probably the best I've had from instant ramen, and the sauce is really good as well. Goes really well with head-on shrimp and mussels.

Every MyKuali flavor I tried is really good. I also had this this head-on shrimp and mussels and it was good. If you can't get fresh shrimp or mussels, fish sausage works well with any spicy thai/singapore type broth. This kind of thing:

I tried a few different instant black bean sauce noodles, and I like this brand the best. Keep in mind it's Korean jjajangmen, and not the Chinese kind, so it's a bit different. I like to throw a fried or scrambled egg in here.

It's been snowing where I am for four days now. I am starving for Ramen all of sudden and this thread popped in my mind. I'm stuck at home watching Ramen videos...

Hungry for Ramen again. But what is up with adding Chili? I'm sure there is a market for spicy Ramen but...

Ramen is usually something to eat when you are lazy, or need something quick to eat. You shouldnt eat it as a meal that often. That being said, I think people are taking their ramen recipes a little too seriously :p

I think you have confused instant ramen with actual ramen there. Ramen is truly serious business.

Okay have to ask an insulting question. When making instant Ramen after the 3 minutes of boiling you remove from the heat and add the seasoning. Do you add the egg during that time after the boil? Or during? What if I wanted to add meats?

Meat goes in at the start otherwise the inside doesn't heat up and you're stuck eating cold or frozen meat.
I don't think 3 mins is enough to cook an egg in the soup so you probably either fry it in another pan or boil it separately.

Okay an update on the egg situation. Made more Ramen, but this time put the Egg in boiling stage for 1 minute then removed from the heat and put the Seasonings in, seemed to have improved somewhat.
