Brand: Maruchan Flavor: Beef Preperation: Crush ramen. Not too much. put crushed noodles in a large coffe cup. Add 3/4 of the beef ramen flavoring. 1 tsp olive oil 1/4 packet of Sazón 1/4 beef bullion. Microwave 1 min, stir. repeat once. Added half cup of shredded cheese after microwaving, and stir. Delicioso. User is awesome for this post.

Actually, there is a really good 80s Japanese movie centered around Ramen available on the YouTubes: (Title: "Tampopo") I actually set myself the goal to once try and live off Ramen that I ordered on amazon for a week or so. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=ramen&x=0&y=0

I never actually ate ramen ( I suppose) as the only thing I did yet was putting boiled water over instant noodels, added everything and ate it. Well, much to learn this newbie has as I just realized. So to my question : When you cook it in a frying pan ... you fry the onions and add water, boil it up, add noodels/egg/cheese on the way or do you put boiling water into the frying pan and then add everything..... are noodels the last thing to add ? When do you add cheese ? What cheese ? Stirr the egg and just put it... over the noodels ? Help a fellow TLer here. edit : Break or not to break the noodels, that is the question.

I'm a Ramen-noob too, but personally I don't break the noodles. I let them come apart while boiling.
