We are extremely close to shutting down this thread for the same reasons the PUA thread was shut down. While some of the time this thread contains actual discussion with people asking help and people giving nice advice, it often gets derailed by rubbish that should not be here. The moderation team will be trying to steer this thread in a different direction from now on. Posts of the following nature are banned: 1) ANYTHING regarding PUA. If your post contains the words 'alpha' or 'beta' or anything of that sort please don't hit post. 2) Stupid brags. You can tell us about your nice success stories with someone, but posts such as 'lol 50 Tinder matches' are a no-no. 3) Any misogynistic bullshit, including discussion about rape culture. 4) One night stands and random sex. These are basically brags that invariably devolve into gender role discussions and misogynistic comments. Last chance, guys. This thread is for dating advice and sharing dating stories. While gender roles, sociocultural norms, and our biological imperative to reproduce are all tangentially related, these subjects are not the main purpose of the thread. Please AVOID these discussions. If you want to discuss them at length, go to PMs or start a blog. If you disagree with someone's ideologies, state that you disagree with them and why they won't work from a dating standpoint and move on. We will not tolerate any lengthy derailments that aren't directly about dating. | ||

Also you know, kids aren't really some sort of curse from satan, they can be rewarding or help focus you in reappraising your life. Not a reason in and of itself to have one ofc | ||

I kind of think that people are mad at SixStrings not because he made a dick move, but because they are afraid that something like that could happen to their GFs with a man who has similar moral values. In my book, when a wife cheats, I wouldn't put blame on her lover. He just got an opportunity to get his dick wet. It was ultimately wife's choice to let him do that. And that's why SixString's story is so unsettling - because if that happened to them and they didn't put the blame on him, they would have to blame their precious little snowflake and that would make them sad. It would make me sad too. This whole assumption could be a long shot and it probably is, but I just wanted to say that (unfortunately) women can be scumbags as well. | ||

That doesn't take away from the fact that he came in here to tell (somewhat proudly with head high) that he cheated with her and made her call her husband. Not only that, the wife being to blame doesn't absolve SixStrings from any blame and since the wife isn't here to talk to that only leaves SixStrings left. | ||

That said, the whole 'call your husband' request kind of goes against the idea that it was some spontaneous, can't resist each other kind of thing. Also @Chad, nono I didn't take it in that way at all don't worry about it. It's a big cliche but kids really can be a blessing, I just don't think it's karmic justice when another life is involved.
