Right, so what is the first problem in a zombie invasion? Staying alive. Now, we all got the easy part down -- shotting fucking zombies. Mossberg 500, Colt .45, and a Machete or Axe will handle that just fine. But what about food? water? Well at first signs, it is clear that the grocery stores will be packed out. So where do I go? The vet mother fucker. I'll get like 50 bags of fucking dog food. Know why? It has 100% of the shit you need to survive. Dogs LIVE off of that crap for their entire lives usually, so it has everything you need in terms of vitamins, proteins, etc. Also, it tastes like so much crap no one will go to steal YOUR food. Now, escape plans. I live in South Florida, not an ideal place to be during an invasion. Where I'll go? To a harbor and acquire a boat. I know this part is not original for my location, but it is what I'm sticking too. Nab a boat any way possible and go out into the Gulf. Then go to a fucking Oil Rig. I can guarantee that almost everyone, if not everyone there has left to go help their families. Know what's on an oil rig? Water purifiers. Enough food to last dozens of people almost a year. Imagine how long it can last under 6 people. That dog food will not be the only thing on the menu! It also has weather trackers on it, of course, for if a major storm is coming in. Can just move onto a sandbar or something more inland and wait for it to pass over and if the Oil Rig is destroyed somehow, we move onto another. Although unless it's like a Category 5, I dont see an issue there. Along with multiple communication devices, a definite wireless internet, and security from bandits and zombies due to being in the middle of the fucking ocean and the possibility to also fish, I think I'd be set. | ||

Type 1: The slow, clumsy, idiotic ones that are really only able to get you because they get a sorround on you or just zerg you with their numbers. Type 2: The far more dangerous ones. The quick, fucking athletic, OP zombies that will outrun you unless you're a good runner. But they will (by definition) require no rest so they can run forever. Once you're running, you sure as hell better find somewhere to hide or something. Type 3: The worst ones. The deformed ones, that have the attributes of the second type of zombies, but are also capable of scaling walls easily and come looking messed up with abilities like spewing harmful bio products and whatnot. This is mostly just movie based. For arguament sake, let's keep this as "realistic" as possible. So type 1 and 2 are really the most realistic there is, should it ever occur. My plan was taken from a movie, but altered. I forget what movie (and yes I realize movies are fake blah blah. Bear with me). There was a group living in an apartment building that sealed off the stair case with a gate. I thought this was briliiant. It allows a very low flow of zombies, and an easy domino effect. But, this wasn't utalized to full effect. I thought why not cut off half the building by destroying about 2 floors worth of stair case. This completely cuts off any threat of zombie attack. The only downside is being starved out. This is where it comes to being prepared to deal with this. Finding a well located apartment is a must. Where stores are nearby, and hell even fishable water. Of course the stores are going to be ransacked by every by passing survivalist but they can only carry so much, and there's a LOT of food in large grocery stores. So, a rope is required for in and out access. While in stores do not forget video games on portable devices as well as batterys for entertainment. Candles, flashlights. Vision is a resource  . Get sport equipment. You'll have people there with you, and if you don't; Broadcast. Let people know you're there. Find as large a cloth as possible. Knit pieces together. Write that you're there. How to reach you. You have access to basically the whole top half of the building. Hang it. so people can see it. Once you have enough, clear a room and play some indoor sports. Keep yourself fit. What else can you be doing that's a permanent form of entertainment?Keeping in mind, internet will be out, electricity will be out and a lot of technology like vehicles, automated weapons(guns), will be obsolete. A radio is usable if you're able to and others are able to catch it. Since radios are workable with batteries. Same with portable dvd players so you're not completely in the dark on lazy entertainment. Anyways, that's just what I would be doing. Of course, if there was a weakness (Zombies can't be out in the day time, they're attracted to glowing lights, afraid of water, etc) I would take advantage to get what i need. That's something that goes with the situation. Happy Zombie hunting. | ||

The whole point of an outbreak is that it is fast and very hard to contain. Yes all the zombies would probably have died out or have been killed within 2 weeks to a month. But can you imagine 2 weeks where you fear that every person around you could be waiting to bite you and infect you? It would sure as hell fuck the world up a bit! Although the one thing they did not mention is the one thing that I actually think would make a zombie apocalypse never happen. The fact that (in most cases), one zombie would start the whole cycle. Now lets say this zombie goes out and starts to eat someone. Now IMO two things could happen. Either the zombie would eat the person to the point of him not actually being able to do anything useful as a zombie. Or the guy would kill the zombie who is currently eating his arm of. Either way in both cases we went from having one zombie one zombie and one dead body. Not exactly the fastest way for a disease to spread! | ||

Never fight zombies with fire. If there is one thing worse than a zombie chasing you trying to eat your brains.... its a zombie on fire chasing u and wanting to eat your brains. You cant kill zombies, zombies are already dead, your only chance of escape is seriously maiming or dismembering. Trust no-one. Even if they say "I am not a zombie" isn't that what a zombie would say in order to get closer to you? Cut all emotional ties to your fellow man. Nothing is worse than falling in love with someone who then becomes a zombie and tries to eat your brain. If you require social relationships, make sure your social/travel companion is slower than you. Sometimes you dont need to outrun zombies, only the person running next to you. | ||
