In World War Z which is all about a zombie-pocalypse the author talks about swarms of them in the ocean. It's not so much that they can walk to the island, or anywhere specifically, but when there are millions of people that have died/risen in the water then the chances that some will eventually be washed to any given place are high.

Yeah WWZ says that, but they'll only follow you underwater if you're making enough noise or are big enough for them to see you. Also they do decompose a lot underwater after time, so when they do wash up on shore (after months/years) they won't be much of a threat as long as you don't decide to go swimming.

I live on Vancouver Island, in the event of zombies, I should have enough time to stock up on enough crucial supplies and sail over to one of the less populated and secluded islands.

Zombies can't walk under water, they need oxygen to function just like the rest of us. How else do they walk if they don't need air to breath?

Well, I technically have 20 minutes until the scheduled time. The crazy man did say 6pm est and it is currently 5:40 est.

Concerning the lack of lan comment someone made to my first post. With the lack of fear of banning from bnet, lan is a very easy thing to hack in if we have nothing better to do.
