I'm british. Last time I got hammered it took around: 2/3 a bottle of scotch 6 Pints of Guinness Around 5 JagerBombs And some archers, which is only like 17.5% but It's really nice imo. And being this way isn't always the best, If i'm having a bad day, it costs me an arm and a leg to get drunk.

8 pints isnt even all that much if your drinking American beer... Our alcohol content is so low that you literally cannot get drunk off the lighter beers.
|
I can handle a 12pack of beers myself over the course of 3-4 hour ill be hammered. usually 8 im good and drunk and that about 8 pints.

As for the question about how well you play SC with respect to alcohol consumption - My apm went up by 30 in BW with ~750 ml of Vodka in 2 of the 3 of the Ottawa LANs we had last year (my normal apm was a bit over 100), and I definitely played better when watching the replays afterwards and sober.
I'm weird though.

I would say 2 pints is good for me.

i take it as this: when you're unable to walk properly, you're as smart as a 5year old and/or puke

No tolerance at all, i don't drink it and discourage others to do so.
|
I don't drink, not my thing ahah

At 8 pints of 5% alc content beer in less than 4 hours, I take use of the full width of a sidewalk since walking in anything resembling a straight line becomes impossible. 9 pints is as far as I ever go, because the danger of vomiting becomes imminent thereafter.

Very high tolerance. When you add up a decent weight, good innate alcohol resistance and lot of training you end up being able to drink a lot. Then again when drinking beer the problem is the size of your stomach, not how much alcohol you can stand. Hard liquor is a way better way to judge someone's resilience.

i dont like beer and hence i dont drink that much. better to measure in a more concentrated form that doesn't involve 5 bladder's worth of liquid.
|
You've asked a very unspecific question. It kinda depends on a million factors, of which the most important are have you eaten, over what amount of time, what's your physical and emotional state in the moment you're drinking. If I gotta speak of myself, usually if I haven't eaten anything for the entire day (due to very busy schedule) it takes around 8 pints (4 litres) of beer to take me down, and if I have eaten a solid meal it takes a minimum of 12 pints of beer to take me down, but it's usually more and I'm not taking in concern my physical or emotional states.
|
Need to define tolerance a lot more precisely before I can vote.
I get drunk pretty fast usually, but at the same time it takes a loooot for me to pass out and similar.
|
You need to define what kind of beer youre drinking, a light beer vs say oaked arrogant bastard ipa is a big difference.
|
i once drank a whole litre bottle of scotch, starting at around 8 and passed out by 9:30 with the bottle polished. it's not something i'm proud of, i think it is kind of an achievement though.
on an average night out though, i drink a 35cl bottle of vodka&energy drink and have 5-6 pints and maybe a few jager bombs, i'd say my tolerance is pretty high.
|
Are you people or alcohol guzzling monstrosities ? I usually drink 3-4 liters of wine and 6-8 liters of beer during a week, and if i drink 2 liters of wine, 6 liters of beer or 0.5 of anything over 40% in one sitting im pissed out of my skull. Guess I have a low tolerance even with all my training then.
|
I dont drink too often but I usually need around 4-6pints to get med plesantly drunk. Depends alot on the day, hydration, food and the time I use to consume it all.
EDIT:Corrected misscalculation.

Beer is hard to quantify as is any liquor. Beer alcohol ranges from 6%-12% hard liquor even wilder from 20%-60%.
