As a Canadian Citizen in Toronto, I thought it was my responsibility to take off my coat and sweater and walk 10min home at 1am last night.

You guys wine too much for Canadians.
I mean we expect this from the states... but ...

What the! UofT closed?? I'm at Queen's and classes are still on and I bet there is way more snow here in Kingston than in Toronto.

rochester new york, we got like 3 inches, these storms never live up to their hype up here. All we have to deal with is constant lake effect snow

The good thing with this is that climate change becomes more real to the U.S, the effects don't just haunt africa and the equator line.

In my mind we need something huge, to make the people make the politicians do the necessary changes in the politics.
We need a dr Manhattan to react against together

Michigan here and its another overated snow storm. It was supposed to be some sort of end times, you will be snowed in for a week type of event. We got 6 inches here (Ann Arbor). Thats nothing, we have already gotten that much in other storms this winter. What a joke.UofM Dearborn and a bunch of other schools canceled classes yesterday just based on the reports. I bet they are pissed now.

In Chicago right now, it's pretty insane out there right now. LSD got shut down because it was riddled with accidents, but the best part was the thundersnow last night!

Colorado School of Mines here. Where I'm at we got about a foot of snow which isn't too bad, but the ridiculously cold weather has kept the road conditions pretty poor. Regardless, my school hasn't closed or even mentioned anything about the weather.

But my car won't start so I'm stuck at home anyway.

Chicago ended up with 20 inches in the course of 1.5 days, and we're still getting lake effect snow. 3rd highest snowfall total for one storm in the 120+ year history of keeping track of it. 1967 was the last time we go more snow than this, 23 inches, but we didn't have the 50+ mph winds then.

Good god its horrible here in Chicago, I just finished tunneling through 1 meter of snow and it took 30 minutes until the snow blower started up. -___-

My university closed yesterday and today here in Wichita :[ I was out in it like an hour yesterday and it wasn't that bad but the roads were a mess. Kansas sucks at clearing snow I guess.

University closed between 2 AM and 10:30 AM in Ithaca (NY). I think the worst is already over. It's not terrible outside, but I'm glad I didn't have to go to school.

We got about 3 inches of snow on Monday here in Boulder Colorado. There is still 3 inches of snow on the ground, because the temperature hasn't been higher than -3 degrees F since then. Lows in the -10s and -20s, and with wind chill last night it dropped to almost -40.

And my University still hasn't canceled school, even though there were cancellations everywhere else all over the state. Such bullshit!

So, to the eastward states, enjoy the snow because it's not going anywhere for a while.

Haha seriously. I woke up early to check if my class was cancelled (York University), and slept in till 1. By the time I got up everything was plowed and normal. Oh well free day -> watching VODS at a Second Cup now haha
