I'm in Texas (which only snows once a year and sometimes not at all), but the temperature dropped from around 85 to 19 overnight. But school still is not canceled yet

(although we might get friday off due to snow

I live in south texas, and we haven't gotten snow yet. But i still didn't go to class cus I was sympathizing with the north ^^

Yep. Walked my dogs in the middle of it around midnight, only half a block though because i had to drag them through it. Shoveling out the driveway this morning was ~~backbreaking~~ fun =/

Well, I'm not going to complain. I feel like I should go sledding or something, but instead I'll probably do physics and play SC2. Oh well. ^.^

It's actually -3 here now.. so not too terribly bad. School doesn't get canceled here unfortunately unless it's -50 degrees though. :'(~~

The bus/subway trip to work today was fantastic. I had the whole bus to myself instead of being cramped like a sardine. I still didn't get a seat on the subway but at least I was able to get on the first train and move my arms once I got on. Easily the least stressful rush hour commute I've had since i started working downtown last month. ^^

There are blackouts in Houston, Texas from everyone using their heaters at once, lol. In the middle of my first class the electricity went out and the rest of my classes were canceled.

They said it may even snow Thursday and Friday :D I wouldn't mind weather like this all winter!

Welcome to the Canadian winter life you southerners. This is normal, theres always a few "bad" snowstorms here every year. Won't compare to our infamous ice storm back in 1998. Now I finish work, going to shovel snow off my car and go home. Standard day.
