I'm in connecticut, everything here is covered in ice. I've never seen anything like it before. I live on a hill and the road outside looks like a frozen waterfall.

We've had nothing but ice here. Lots of it though. And supposedly my city and the surrounding ones are out of salt. No plows have touched our streets.

Argh, it's been snowing here since whatever time last night, and it's still snowing right now. We're probably @ near a foot and counting over @ UM. They're still having classes though. -_-

Well, that storm was definitely not what I expected. Here in Niagara Falls it's not bad at all. We got little snow, but all the schools and universities are closed anyway. Oh well.

I thought the snowfall was bad this year in the netherlands but this is just crazy! I was stupid enough to go out with all the snowfall and came home waaaay too late xD

Everything in my town is closed... Except for our school. Every other university (including my school's satellite campuses) and every high school in the city is closed, but my campus is still up. Oh, and my house has no electricity. Hurray!

same...schools are closed here too but its not that bad atm and usually schools nvr close for us...
I think it'll get worse in Canada in the afternoon so maybe that's why school was closed.

I guess it missed me up here in BC, but it does feel really cold today.

Yeah yesterday in general and today seem to be colder than usual. I suppose this explains it partially.

here at university of Colorado Denver we had like -15 at night and below zero without windchill during the day.. It was the same "you'll get frostbite but we arent gonna cancel anything" idea here.. Bulllshit

I'm so jealouse!!!! I wish we had gigantic snowstorms like that again. Here in montreal we're having a little snowfall but it's nothing major. By hoping it'll drop a megafuckload of snow, it'll only drop like 2 centimeters.
Its always how it works out .

FOUR DAMN TIMES.

Anyway, Philly is getting off light. We've only gotten a bunch of rain, although most of it will be frozen soon.

I've never seen snow this high before in the Chicago suburbs and all you hear is the sound of snow blowers. Schools out though, so I don't have much to complain about.
