I picked these up a while ago. They offered 13's at the time, so that's the size I picked up. Most comfortable shoes I have ever owned thus far. I usually forget I'm even wearing them, and wear them from 9 in the morning to midnight without ever really noticing. So yeah, go for the Adidas. The next pair I'll get are probably the Gazelles.

Puma Suedes - pretty versatile sneakers, comfy. ![]() Onitsuka Tigers - see above ![]() Adidas - lots of good casual sneakers, I recommend Stan Smiths, Campus, Superstars, Nizzas ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you want more semi formal shoes... Converse Jack Purcell - many great low top models, semi formal look. ![]() Sperry Topsiders or Sebago Docksides - boat shoes, timeless staple of Ivy League fashion. Docksides are generally more expensive but better fits imo. ![]() Sperry ![]() Sebago Common Projects - amazing aesthetic and quality, bit pricey tho. Many models to choose from. ![]() Spring Courts - decent ![]() Pro Keds - pretty good quality ![]()

I like to wear dress shoes that aren't extremely, personally. For that I like Aldo, Stacy Adams, Kenneth Cole, and even some Steve Madden shoes. It can dress up a pair of jeans and a button down shirt or whatever, or dress down business casual clothes, while still maintaining a proper look. Pumas are nice, super comfortable, but let's be honest with each other for a moment.. running shoes look like ass with jeans... Pumas look terrible with jeans in general, imo. They're amazing with shorts, but to me, most Pumas don't look good with jeans. Then again, that's because of the style of clothing I wear overall, I think, but I've talked with quite a few people that agree with that (since Pumas are primarily sport shoes). In the end, the clothes you wear decide what style your shoes are. Shoes are a piece of the puzzle, and they're one of the final pieces. You don't plan your clothes around your shoes, you plan your shoes around your clothes. So, if you're looking for something to wear with jeans and a t-shirt (unless you're also going to throw in a vest or a blazer), then skate shoes are nice (I'd go DVS over any other brand. They hold up for-fucking-ever man), some Pumas are good (specifically Basket, Speeder, Replicat, Driftcat, and Roma... I also love the TX-301, Voltaic which are only good with shorts, look terrible with jeans imo, and their Ducatti line)... you can go with almost anything really, probably some "urban" style would be best, because they have flat soles, which look a million times better in jeans to me. If you're going to go with canvas shoes... buy PF Flyers.. they're guaranteed to make your run faster and jump higher, can't go wrong with that! I think that's a pretty good list to start with though.

If that's all you can afford, go for it... but honestly, women notice dude (well, the type I go after). If you're not worried about that, then continue to go there. I haven't had a pair of airwalks in like 10 years probably, so I have no idea what the quality is like anymore, but I remember that back in the day they held up really well. I wouldn't personally shop there for every day shoes, but buying higher-end clothing/shoes is my thing. Some people spend a lot on electronics and cars and such... I like clothes and shoes. Whatever. Also, while a lot of people don't believe it... you pay less because they really aren't as high quality as the other places. I'm not 100% sure that applies to Airwalks (they were good at one time), but in general, I've found that Payless shoes, Wal-Mart, Target, etc, don't hold up as well as name brand shoes. Seriously, though, for like $20 more you can get a pair from Famous Footwear or something and they're better shoes overall. I can't say I'd recommend wearing them for that long, though. The insoles break down pretty heavily after 6 solid months of wear, and are shot by a year with almost any shoe. look for the ferrari symbol. however be warned that they wear very easily in you live in a place with weathered conditions. My brother could not wear them during the winter or spring and they got worn down pretty quickly to the OP (kinda late) looking for fashionable shoes/comfort/healthy most comfy shoes will not be good for the feet. just a quick heads up. i.e. flip flops, UGGs, flats

![]() Those are the Steve Maddens I wear. Very comfortable shoes with a minimalist design for 50 bucks. Good enough for business casual, but not so fancy that you can't wear them with jeans. Almost all Steve Madden shoes look something like that.

I used to be able to spot Onitsuka Tigers in West Edmonton Mall for around ~$50 and picked up a few since they were pretty much alternatives to Converses, in that they look good with virtually any casual wear and are cheap. I'm in Ontario now and I've been noticing that stores such as Town Shoes are starting to carry them for >$100 which is saddening for me. I found some cheaper versions in younger/skate focused shops for ~$40, but the quality was quite horrid in comparison to those I picked up at West Ed. Does anyone know reliable online retailers that carry these shoes at reasonable prices? Or perhaps shops in south western Ontario, including TO? Try "Da Zone" on queen street and spadina and head a bit east it's on the south side though thats hardcore downtown toronto I think the tigers go for about $80 ?
