lol, well I actually read that somewhere myself. I think earlier in the thread someone linked me to a thread on the osu forums about dealing with theme problems and a program that would delete all the skins from all the songs. I didn't want to delete all the skins, so I checked out the osu file for one of the offending songs and noticed that line and I figured that the advice from the post about renaming would do the trick without having to delete all the skins for every song. That way I can manually delete skin parts I don't lie while leaving ones that don't bother me and not have to worry about the songs that try to overrule things by specifying default as the skin.

I'm used to digging around like that.

Played a bit at home on my laptop. I brought my good mouse, but the smaller screen, smaller resolution, different surface, different keyboard, and different table height really take a toll on my game.

Not surprising, but kinda annoying. And sad.

Thanks, I wish I could actually use my stamina for something but I'm so inaccurate I just can't keep combos.

it's has no easy difficulties though, some jumps are pretty hard, some streams very long and the playtime is 11 minutes of awesome

Yet I have a question about the vocabulary you all are using : What does "jump" refers to ?

And another one : I'm actually using a tablet which assign my screen to a portion of the tablet. But there is a minimum size for the portion and it is too huge( like 4x3 cm ) and I'm really not comfortable with it. Is there any way so as to shrink it more ?
I tried to play in windowed mode so as to reduce the screen size but don't feel comfortable with it neither.

A jump is pretty much when the distance between notes changes for the amount of time between notes.

Jump is basically when notes are far apart on the playing field but not far apart on the timeline.

Tried this game, but I didn't like the fact that you need to play through a song 100 times to learn it into your muscle memory until you can beat it. And that's basically all it is, just remembering what comes where next.

You're playing the wrong songs then. 99% of the songs in the game can be FC'd on the first try if you're good enough. If you just start, and play the hardest, longest, streamiest songs possible, you're doing it wrong. And yes, I'd imagine that would suck because you'd suck at that point too.

You start with songs you can beat on the first try, i'd imagine 4 star songs, and work your way up like normal people. Find songs/styles of maps you like, and play those. If you don't like songs so hard you have to memorize them, don't play them, because not many people like them either.
