Ok, then i've said nothing. My post indeed assumed you didn't look into it already, sorry about that

I remember back when I could first start having a chance at 5 star maps, i started actually liking the game and played hours and hours each day. Well, for a few days, then my knuckles/fingertips got really sore.

Haha, i know that feeling.
When I first started playing multiplayer, i noticed being able to play 5 stars wasnt particularly impressive. I decided i wanted to win against everyone and started to practice insanely hard. That was the moment where I decided i was playing osu because i was playing osu instead of improving at sc2. At times i played like 6 hours a day on average. Never got any physical complaints of it though. It felt so good to get compliments from people ranked higher then myself. Or maybe even beating them. When i first got my top 50 score I was so happy. Good times, good times. :')
Atm im kind of on a plateau though. I don't really like where i'm going (mixture of reasons), so although it pains me, i'll stick to casually playing for the most part for a while, until my motivation has come back.
Edit: oh lol, this was post #2000. I guess it's fitting it's in this thread.

Gonna have to take a break. This sucks.
I just want to point out this VERY likely is an issue of how you are playing, you said you looked into posture and that seemed fine in which case I am assuming you are tensing.
I always refer to pianists on this topic, and they can play from they are kids til they are old on keys much heavier to press for hours every day and have no problems because proper posture and relaxing is being thought from the start.

Pretty much everyone else that posts videos here is better than me lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Bit of a slow poke but I am quite pleased with the new rankings I went from 17k -> 9k (still ~200 Canada) but my accuracy went down from 95.5% to 93%. I feel my rating is much more accurate as I rarely beat any players higher than me in multiplauer anymore.
On the issue of wrist tension/posture on huge jumps I find that increasing tension in my mouse hand actually increases accuracy, though it's tiring and can flare/cause RSI. And recently I've been feeling pangs in my mouse palm when I pick up heavy objects and vague soreness when i play. For the time being I'm trying to keep relaxed at all times. For the mouse + keyboard folk out there I'm interested to know if you guys play with the mouse buttons pushed down.
I've been working on skill trying to clear maps like freedom dive and big black but I've been having trouble with endurance and find I drop combo in easy places.

I do not keep the mousebuttons down consciously, but it happens. Recently it's been way less though. I don't think it's very important, but I can imagine it's very different for mouse only players.
edit: And in other news; i was mp-ing today and was in a room with both natteke and caren_sk. That was pretty awesome. Also, the room was pretty high level, so i was proud of winning like 3/7 times ^^
edit2: Finally passed banned forever nogard diff, never got higher then 85% before. + Show Spoiler +
And this means i finally have somewhat control at these speeds, ^^'

That's not the case at all, unless a ton of people are posting video's that i can't see

I don't, at all. My fingers are too far back to activate the mouse buttons easily - on a xornet though it's much more understandable
Huehue, got another movie uploaded, thought this one was worth it either. [IA - Six Trillion Years and Overnight Story (Rin)]
Pretty hard map. As you might see in the video, the parts with unclear patterns are fairly annoying, I nearly missed at one of them. Also, I fucking can't stream. There was only one big stream part and i had like 9 100's or so. Way too much. Still it was rank 80, so pretty good.
(also, sorry for terrible video quality as usual ): )
