How much does stopping power affect sniping. If it helps a lot I might use it, if not I'll just stick to cold blooded. I anticipate my aim being a bit off until I really get the hang of sniping. I tried it in one game awhile ago and I think I only got 1 kill with my sniper rifle lol. The rest were shotgun kills. | ||

Also for sniping here is my TDM setup- WA2000 FMJ Slight of hand pro Cold blooded pro Ninja pro M9 with tac knife Smoke nade Claymore I love this setup. Wearing some head phones is a must tho- it's very nice to be able to hear people running up on you, and because you have ninja your noise doesn't get in the way. Cold blooded is there to stay off of UAV, and any other kill streak shinanigans. You really don't need stopping power for a sniper class, because if you are good enough- upper body 1 shots / dome shots are really pretty simple. M21 is a shit sniper (to weak, and worthless with out SP which i refuse to use), barrrrooooooooot has too much recoil, and intervention is bolt action so it takes to long. Basically W2000 is hands down the best rifle you can use IMO | ||

Barret + stopping power = 1 hit kill almost every time you shoot. without it you need more accuracy. Sniper + FMJ might be enough to reach the same effect. | ||

I don't know if I really need the stopping power pro, and I think I might need to change the thrown knife as well. I think this is the best build I currently have in CQB maps. If you have any suggestion feel free to provide! I'm currently level 41 so I think a few more guns to unlock! | ||

Other than that, as long as you're playing SC, stopping power / cold-blooded is a toss-up imo- I'd personally go with cold-blooded, 'cause the UMP kills so quickly anyway. If you're playing HC, then naturally, never use stopping power. | ||

Basically, I was playing sabotage on Highrise, and we were in different teams. I was going around knifing with .44 magnum + tactical knife. He was also knifing but without tactical knife, and instead used the care package glitch. Both had Commando ofc. When the game was over, I think he had better stats than me, and that's fine, but man, during the game itself... he was the biggest asshole you'll ever see. For me, whoever uses the care package glitch for knifing is either: 1. Someone who is just trying it out for once, and then never will again. 2. A retard who ignores answering to all the hate he gets in game. 3. A sad little kid who thinks that as long as it helps his stats, it doesn't matter that it is an unlogical glitch, and he should be ashamed of himself. This guy was neither. Basically, whenever we had a knife fight, I won about 75% of the time. That kinda indicates that he's a worse player than me. But the things he said... oh god. I'm gonna illustrate our in-game argument. It's ridiculous. Me: Can't you just lay down the care packaging, it's retarded. Him: (In caps ofc... sigh) OMFG, STOP USING THE TACTICAL KNIFE, I CAN'T KILL YOU THEN! Me: Eh.. what? You're the one whos glitching, and neither one of us lags, so you should kill me if you had better reflexes, idiot. Him: NO! TACTICAL KNIFE IS NOOB!!!! Me: Srsly, WHAT is your problem with it!? As for sniping, tried it out for the first time really yesterday. I didn't get to play much, since I went out with my brother in law to celebrate a promotion he got. Anyway .. I did ok, I didn't get THAT many kills with it. To be honest, I've been using it as a secondary weapon to my shotgun though. I've been going around with SPAS/foregrip, marathon, cold blooded, ninja. When I get the opportunity to take a sniper shot, I'll pull the WA2000 out and take it. So I played like 4 games last night, think I ended up with somewhere between 12-15 kills with sniping. The default controls feel a little odd for sniping on Xbox. I might try to change them up, maybe change the steadying button to left trigger. And you were right. That guy was just trolling or is legally retarded. | ||

Also... The UMP45 is glitched. If you look at the charts, all of the guns have maximum damage and minimum damage, and silencers will reduce the threshold for the damage reduction (hence the range decrease). For some strange reason, the UMP45 *ACTUALLY* doesn't get weaker with a silencer, so with stopping power you can drop someone in 2-3 hits at any range using a silencer (you can't do that with any other gun that i've seen so far). My new favorite class is silenced UMP, akimbo glocks (because that shit is fucking imba, i can drop 3 guys effortlessly becuase they can't aim while they're getting covered in bullets), scavenger (because i'll use all 200-something rounds before dying more often than not, and infnite grenades is hilarious), stopping power and either ninja pro or commando pro, depending on how badly i want to jump off buildings  ANYWAY, i can go on and on about gun theory in this game but it basically comes down to this rifles: famas > m16 (same damage, faster fire rate,) ACR is zero recoil rape machine, but kills in 3-5 hits instead of 2-3 like famas or TAR > SCAR (same damage, faster fire rate, bigger clip, worse recoil, but you can man up and learn to burst properly) m4, ak, FAL, F2000, basically all the other rifles are shit because there are better guns. best smg = UMP hands down best scope = barrett best lmg = RPD > AUG (2hits, 100 ammo clip vs. AUG's tiny clip best shotgun = akimbo fmj model 1887 >:D! best pistol = magnum (deagle's recoil rapes your screen and they do essentially the same damage) best machine pistol = single tmp, or akimbo g18 launchers are all for fags unless you need to shoot down a chopper gunner with a stinger | ||
