It's the one thing that makes the knife-only setup viable to everyone. Real knifers have brains, but the care package marker glitch makes ANYONE a good knifer. It seems like it would be an easy fix though. Assign a movement penalty to the marker equal to that of an smg, and it'll bring them right back down to the same level they were before. Hopefully IW has something in the works for that. | ||

So currently my favorite build setup is the following and I'm Level 19: Primary: Scar - H w/ ACOG sight Secondary: AA shotgun Equipment: Throwing Knives Special Grenades: 2 Flash Bangs Perks 1: Pro Scavenger Perks 2: Pro Stopping Power Perks 3: Aim Hip (sorry, forgot the name) DeathStreak: Copy Cat (I think that's the name) KillStreak: AUC, Care Package and Heli Attack Is this okay? I haven't made any 7 streak kills yet so I haven't tried the Heli Attack. Feel free to provide any insights for a noob like me. | ||

Care packages don't add to your kill streak, so if you got a pred missile and killed 3 people, you would not be any closer to the heli attack. If you've just started then you could go for: UAV/Pred/Heli The pred missile is great because you're gaurenteed at least one kill so that takes you up to 6 and one more kill will give you harriers/heli attack. Harriers/heli are great for getting kills, you can just wait for them to rack up the kills while you stay safe. It's pretty long to unlock new killstreaks at the lower levels but the best percentage chances of you getting your final killstreak always look like this: pred/harrier/chopper gunner or AC130 pred/harrier/pave low Unless someone shoots down your harrier or support chopper, it should get you at least 4 kills in order to use gunner/ac130. For you try the uav/pred/heli and get used to it to rack up some kills, then you can scrap the uav and stick a better killstreak on the end | ||

The problem is I don't use stopping power pro, I use cold blooded pro. I pretty much need to, because I take it on myself to take down enemy kill streaks with a stinger. Not to mention the whole don't show up on uav/thermal benefit to it. The SCAR does enough damage and being automatic; you don't really need stopping power with it. That's why it has been my favorite gun so far, it really suits my play style. It's only real weakness is clip size. Sleight of hand covers this up by having a really fast reload, but then you still run out of ammo. I use scavenger pro for the extra magazines and deal with the 20 bullets per magazine. The SCAR has a slower fire speed so it usually ends up balancing it out. I personally prefer the holographic sight to them. They are pretty damn accurate and you only have to deal with normal recoil. You can still even fire at sniper range with a holo SCAR, assuming you can see what you're firing at. I agree about the kill streaks too. Care packages are good for getting some kills if you get a lucky drop, but if you want a kill streak chain predator or sentry is the way to go. UAVs help a lot when you're learning the game, plus help out your teammates. My current load out is pred/harrier/pavelow. That works out really nicely. I usually pick pavelow over chopper gunner and AC 130 because you can still kill people normally while it is in the air. As for my suggestions. Scrap stopping power for cold blooded when it becomes available to you. The SCAR does high damage on its own, most of the time you won't need stopping power. Cold blooded is a great perk. Also, when you unlock other death streaks, I would move on from copy cat. I can't remember ever using that. And when you unlock it, maybe give ninja a try. Not showing up on heartbear sensors is nice too. | ||

Poll: Most hated MW2 Map (Vote): Underpass (Vote): Karachi (Vote): Invasion (Vote): Sub Base (Vote): Derail I figured these are the most hated maps, and these are the maps that I hate the most too so I was just wondering what you guys like the least. And even if you in your own opinion think one of these maps don't deserve to be there you are wrong and that's a fact. Yes, all these maps I listed suck and would never be great like maps such as : Terminal Skid row Scrap Yard High Rise These are a favorite among most people and I can see why. Also, I just got the fucking ACR on my second account on live, it fucking OWNSSS! | ||

god i hate it so much, i've never had fun or a decent game on it. It's such a cluster fuck map combined with ridiculous rooves. Unlike Favela which if you do go on a roof, you can be seen from nearly every angle and from a distance away, whereas karachi, any corner you walk around potentially will have a guy on a roof directly in front of you or just poking out from those tiny balconies. Gets fucking annoying and pretty much any place on the map has so many routes leading to it that you will get shot in the back a dreadful amount of times. No fun no fun. Terminal Skid row Scrap Yard High Rise Are my favourite maps as well, i think Highrise might take it for me. Invasion is alright too, the middle is a bit of a cluster fuck but thats ok. Rundown...i may have gotten this one confused with Invasion but if its the one with those 3 bridges where you can get gunned down from some random angle then meh, it's an ok map i guess, just not the greatest. Afghan is a map where despite looking big, there isn't that much ground to cover, especially on the plane side of it. Demo on Afghan is impossible to take B. Underpass i don't mind, i don't like it but you can have some good games on there. The place just looks so drab though ;/ I like Favela, you can have some pretty tight games there plus its a bit mad so its more exciting. Wasteland, i barely ever get to play this but its a nice oppertunity to snipe. Derail is good, you can use any gun for it. Again though on demo, A is pretty damn hard to take and in my opinion, don't use thermal because everything is white and its more hindering than helpful. Sub base is good but if you keep getting it you will not be happy | ||
