I'd address the marvel questions, but Bill is correct in that they should be in the actual fighters topic! These other SF4 threads are stealing the real thread's thunder xD
Also, playing vs computers is terrible. They're fucking stupid 100% of the time and teach you terrible terrible habits (PPP lariat with geif backwards then forwards, CPU will attempt to focus it and get hit every single time from full health to 0 as most characters even on hardest). Instead, play some TL members! I'd be down for helping someone learn on PSN, tag is TheEvilTree
I'll even hook up a headset to explain some basics while we play if you want :D
how do you do a ex dash punch, into dash punch for balrog?;o and how do you do dash punch, into a ex dash punch ? ;o and how do you do 2 dash punches in a row ?;o and how do you do a dash punch into a a super?;o
haha sorry if i asked 4 questions in a row, just lazy to write them all seperate. and sorry if i called it a dash punch, i know the real names but yeah their all punches
One thing that will probably make things make a lot more sense to you is knowing about his turn around punch (TAP). Any time you see balrog actually do a little spin at the start of his dash punch, it's a tap, not a dash punch. TAPs aren't done by charging, they're done by pressing then releasing all three punches or kicks at once. (they also go through fireballs in their startup). When you saw 2 dash punches in a row, you probably saw a TAP into a dash punch, in which case the balrog is just charging even before the TAP comes out. (that's what's happening at 0:50)
To dash punch into super, you just do charge back, forward + P (this give you a dash punch), back (not charging), forward + P (will give you the super). The motions overlap and the input counts for both, letting you do 2 different moves that you have to charge off of the same charge.

haha thanks, sorry if im asking noob questions but yeah, i get lazy looking around, trying to find my answers, instead of looking around i just practice random shit on training mode, so yeah, but when in the vid looks like he does 2 dash punches in a row ;o
after u do ex upper immediately hold d/b and do 2 jabs and repeat tbh i not really into doing more than one ex upper in a combo but ive seen players do it 4 times so yea lol.... it takes some time to get used to linking the jab after the ex upper
iloveroo try practicing using rog's hard trial mode most of the combo's are mainly for show and meter-eaters but rog's #5 combo is actually useful
Doing that combo requires you to be in the d/b mindset. Or rather most charge characters mindset. You have to be downbacking or holding back like all the damn time. lolol if rog has full meter and ultra he can practically do 4 rush uppers and end into headbutt ultra lol so good

I'm pretty sure that every SF4 player says that the 360 controller is the worst possible controller you can use for SF
arcade stick is the best but ps3 controllers are terrible, because there is a d-pad on it but there is no diagnol buttons on the d-pad. xbox controllers are the only things that are acceptable, all sticks on controllers are just terrible for high level comboing but d-pad is good but not on the ps3. ps3 is good for noob fighting games. not sf4 or doa4.
all sf4 players that are any good use arcade style controllers so they cant say xbox are bad.

lol yeah it seems hard, but i atleast want to do 2 in a row so when i get pissed at someone haha
bleeh i try to do his trail mode's each time i do it, it doesn't come out a combo and it dustrates me cause i spend like 30 mins just trying to do 1 stupid ez combo. even though im doing it quickly, but yeah i gotta practice that headbutt into ultra, can never seem to get it perfect, even though i know what to do xP
