Sigh, about to join the corp (or have, if my application has been accepted by now). Flying in my covops up to make safes and insta-undocks and whatnot from the first low sec system from jita to sara. On the way I go through severall gatecamps. Npnp I'm in a covops, nothing can happen.
Then a gate refuses to let me through, sais I will be processed in the next 2 min (after having recieved the "jumping" notice. I get scramed by the gatecamp as soon as I am able to move again and gets killd. FML

I expected to die on my first roam in a cane, but I didn't expect to die because of retarded stuff that shouldn't have happened. (Also Aeth told me to sit 20k from the gate, suddenly rapier)
However, we killed a dirty blackbird and a dirty falcon, and taught some goon phoon pilot that hull tanking is awful.
And the size of the fleet they got up to try to kill us was hilarious, although I wish they would have undocked it when we were actually on the station.
Also (last thing) outposts have something like a 100k diameter. WHY?

Hey,
I wanted to get into Eve Online since quite a long time, but since I had no friends really interested in making the jump with me (fucking WoW -_-') I never really had the occasion to really get started.
I tried once and played for a week through a trial account around like 1year ago, but playing purely solo PvE got boring very fast 
Are the apply instructions in the OP still up to date? If yes i'd be happy to make a new start

Making people jump from WoW to EVE is quite difficult. Playing EVE solo was quite boring, NPC corp chat was pretty bad. I'm happy I got a place where I can direct all my noob questions at :D
