So, I plan to boost + probe on the same ship.. what implant set is the best? I am thinking the Virtue set atm to buff probing obviously, but is there something better? Jump clones for different mind-links obviously. | ||

However TODAY I went for amamake again and about 15j in I found a jaguar sitting on a belt, got it down on a 5°, nothing on but but a belt, a jaguar and two medium wrecks. So I went for it. Got exited like a 5year old on christmas eve and just pressed warp. Turned out I still had outgate in "aim", so everything started with an hilarious miss-warp. Since Aeth told me to play arround a bit and make them think they got me, I waited a couple of shots, thinking it would take him some time to get me into armor and by that time I could start my booster. Turned out it pwned me pretty badly and after just 3 shots (or so?) I was in 10% shields, and I smashed everything on I got without heating. Now with my booster running I was sitting quite stable at 30% shields, while I beat him up. My guns were heated, he ended up in 90% armor after 3 capacitor-booster-cycles (that is about 36 + 3 times reloading I think), I'm still tanking like a pro when suddenly I realised I forgot to reload that son of a bitch capbooster and my boosters are still in my can. Got the next booster in my cargo, smashed reload, and everything like crazy, no cap left, I went to 30% structure in no time, finally my cap booster is loaded, I'm back to full cap and die while smashing my booster hardcore Sooooo. Still kinda funny. I totally expected to die due to the fact that it was my very first 1v1 battle, at all and I probably learned a bit. That won't happen again and now I know that I probably don't need 20 reloads of ammo in my merlin :p The fact that I lost that merlin isn't really disappointing (or my massive amounts of ammo) at all, while I really would like to know how it would have ended out without that mistake. Wasn't expecting that much dmg out of an jaguar, than again, it's an assault ship with a shitload of +dmg. I'm not even sure how those things are tanked. Given that I'm stable if I don't screw up I could have fought like this quite some time.
