God I do not know off hand, I'll check later on when I log on. Most of my gunnery support is at 5 and HAC is at level 4 for comparisons sake not that this matters because the vagabond doesn't get a tracking bonus. | ||

Also I am quitting EVE because I won. The reimbursement fund had better last longer this time. I mean, I am putting in 3.5b this time. | ||

You shouldn't quit until you can self fund a Titan. Fully fitted mind you! also I will definitely be there, my lack of market knowledge in this game besides how much something is worth on paper has always bugged me. It's the only facet of the game I never bothered to learn. | ||

Charge slightly higher prices in return for making it convenient for the buyer, as they don't have to look through all the sell orders on the forums and the contracts (at a time when there might not be anyone selling what they want.) You would need an awful lot of capital to start such a venture and on top of that how do you plan on getting your shop out into the open? By a lot of capital im talking like a billion isk or so AT LEAST. | ||

----- A question to the vets. Minimatar or Amarr? Or, the most important questions to me: Just how does the Gedon, Apoc, and Baddon compared with with phoon, pest, and mael? I know that they are different ships, but lets say you are a FC and would you rather have another Gedon or Phoon in your RR BS gang, and apoc or pest in your snipe fleet? I always wonder if the extra 50km of optimal makes the apoc a much superior snipe ship than pest despite the alpha difference, at least when the fleet is homogeneous enough to use that advantage. | ||

I always wonder if the extra 50km of optimal makes the apoc a much superior snipe ship than pest despite the alpha difference, at least when the fleet is homogeneous enough to use that advantage. Amarr battleships are really the best battleships in the game. Yes minnie has caught up a bit with the aplha buff on arties and the need for less tank on BS's because of dominion DD change, but all in all Amarr BS's are mindblowingly good. High number or low and hi slots, great cap, nice drone bays, not to mention lasers are incredible for various reasons like: instant reload(change of optimal), which takes 10s in a Minmatar bs, also T2 laser crystalls are estimated at 5k shots before breaking, you need to reload a 1400mm arty after 20rounds IIRC. RR BS Geddon and Apoc shine. Geddon because of the utility high slot and 8lows, Apoc because of either the option of going 85km range WITH PULSE LASERS, or going for well over 150 with Tachyons. Vil actually spend a while on the test server with daedali's account jsut shooting people from 200km away and watching them die after burnign 100km towards him : > Still minnie bs's are not to be underestimated. Alpha is the main plus really. Imagine syncing up 30maelstroms to all fire at 1 target at the same time. It goes boom, sadly this is not an easy task. Solo flying I'd have to say it depends on what's your style. Minnie can be either flow as a in your face brawler with mwd armor tank and emp. Or you can go with a light shield tank and nanoes, dictating range via hispeed and dual heavy neuts which alpha the cap of any cruiser. All the while doing damage at a quite high range with T2 AC's and barrage. This is mostly reffering to the tempest. Mukk Barovian from GC is awesome flying a shield Tempest. Typhoon is a great ship especially with the buff to 5/5 slot layout for weapons. Either way you get 175m3 of dronebay, 3 utility high's and 7low slots for a sick armor tank. Plated typhoon is really a great lowsec ship. You could also try a shield tanked phoon, since it has the best agility of a nonfaction BS, with the idea of dictating range but your tank is going to be almost paper thin. On the other hand Amarr BS's are great solo ships for lowsec. I particularly like the geddon mostly because I've watched to many kil2 videos. Cheap ship, slot for a heavy neut, with T2 lasers can reach up to 44km optimal, flight of heavy drones and a mean buffer make it one hell of a ship. Abaddon is pretty sick too with 200k + EHP tank and 8 turret slots, only problem is you can cap yourself out really fast if you go for a active tank and mega pulses. Hope this helps. | ||

Tempest is one of the very very FEW bs(only?) that can fit 2 RR reps and still fit it's full complement of guns. With BS level 5 it has 7.5 effective turrets anyway. Tech 2 artillery is not to be discounted. A Tempest will fire out to 200km with 1200's with only ONE optimal module on your ship. If you build it for sniping you will have no issue. If you're sniping though a maelstrom is better...the tempest shines in RR BS groups really. The tempest is also an excellent "oversized BC." It's really the only battleship that doesn't fly like an absolute brick and fitting it like a large vagabond can make a beast of a small gang ship. The Maelstrom is a good sniper but I don't think it'll really compare to an Apoc over all. Tachyons are just...better than 1400's. I would take a Tempest over either RR Amarr BS as the gang size gets bigger. The Typhoon is...a fucking beast? That's about all I can say about it. It's probably the best solo pvp/brawler battleship in the game. It has immense DPS capabilities and has an effective 40km kill zone around a gate. I would NOT take on a typhoon solo in anything other than a typhoon, the things are insane. The problem with a typhoon and why their reputation isn't what it should be is because it takes a stupid amount of skill in both points and piloting to make it effective. You need tech 2 large guns, tech 2 torpedos, most gunnery support to level 5, most missile support to level 5, tech 2 drones, high armor skills, high engineering/energy vamp skills...but once you have those it's a god damn killing machine. We're talking like 1300 DPS with 110k EHP here. Or if you prefer you can have a neutralizer variant that rapes anything smaller than a BS with complete impunity. The Maelstrom is actually pretty damn good in the AC range as well because it just tanks so well with an XL Booster/Cap Booster. | ||
