We had several fleet members afk which I didn't know about because it wasn't my fleet so I thought we actually had something credible. I was a little shocked when only a drake and a cane (Karah's manti was suicidal) joined me to fight a tengu, two drakes, a cane and a charon which were joined by a nemesis, another cane and a myrm. I kept calling for point spreads that just couldn't happen because we had just three bc and a pair of rifters. However they used their dps terribly, splitting it between myself and Kris who are massively tanked while ueber snaked out. We hulksmashed a shield cane and the tengu didn't last much longer. Their drakes were pretty failfit and their kinetic damage was being shrugged off while their cane and myrm reinforcements bailed with the tengu's death. Their side appeared to be a massive clusterfuck of people warping in and out as the battle seemed to be shit for them (local spike), then shit for us (just 3 bc?!?!), then shit for them (TENGU DOWN), then shit for us (they're landing!?!?!). We didn't get the choice to bail because we were anchored to a charon so we just stayed the course and gunned them down. Apparently they had just 1 minute on GCC left. Why they didn't dock it up and wait out the 15 I have no idea. [19:50:49] Jar Amar > Hatch - GF - we salute you. Unfortunately I got neuted by one of the 6 or so bs I was trying to bait and baddons don't hang around when it comes to dps. Karah took over FCing from me and things went pretty well. Unfortunately they had tactical safes all over the top belt because they live there and that's just one of their defensive advantages. They had an artymach at one of them and we didn't have a prober and unfortunately it alphaed our scimitar from low shields. It's a bit of a bitch but machs will do that. Scimmy was right to be on the field with low shields because it was at range and kiting the drones but with no damage control a mach volley can be lethal. Even so, a big win and we scooped a LOT of loot. Good day. | ||
