If you make a safe between 2 gates and bubble, you won't catch anyhting (though it would be epic!) I'm not sure your post conveyed this so I just clarified. Wrong. If the bubble is in the path of your warp, it will pull you in. I'm not wrong. Otherwise EvE would be rife with people camping inline's in 0.0. It isn't. What does this tell you? We're having a debate about this in corp atm, one or two of our members claims they've done it, others say it's impossible. I personally have no idea. :D Okay, these are the rules: Unless your intended warp destination is on the same grid with the bubble, it will not pull you in. Your warp vector must pass through any part of the bubble in order for it to pull you in. And on grid is within 500km, correct?
on grid is on grid, and grid sizes may vary. random grid that you make around yourself when you warp to a safe has a 250km radius. gate grids by default have 400 (i think). besides their basic size they can be stretched and compressed using various tricks to give you an advantage. from what i remember when you are exiting grid but have an object less than 250 km from yourself in the grid you were in, you wont exit your current grid, youll stretch it, cause the game tries to keep objects within 250km of each other on the same grid.
there was an old goon document about grids, think it was called grid-fu, if you're interested about grids in detail you can read it.

I was hoping for a simple yes/no answer; it's like this game purposefully tries to be complicated.

So you could just stagger warp bubbles out to arbitrary distances then?

Hey guys, it's Via Tse. My 5 free days expired a couple days ago, and i'm going to be out of town for all of next month, so i wont buy a PLEX until i get back. Dont miss me too much! (yea right lol)

yeah pretty much. you can stagger cans and expand the grid to huge distances. grid-fu is a fairly interesting and somewhat practical read, should check it out.

Iv'e read it but ive also foggotn most of it, lol. Expanding grids works by dropping a can every 250km or so. You can reduce the size of grids by making a new grid close to an old one and flying towards the old one, two grids cannot combine so one will get smaller to make up for you expanding the other grid.

More like one point not buying right now so I can honour cashouts at the end of the month if needed.
How desperate for isk are you? If it's a question of plexing I can probably sort something out for you. Otherwise, I'd rather not.

Maybe now that I have ECM drones, I won't die horribly in 1v1.
BC's anyway. How well do EC-600s do against Battleships?

You must be able to glance at an assortment of letters and/or numbers for only a moment, and know what you need to do.
Also you must be able to discern random comm chatter from obscure FC commands while you're doing 5 other things, then also do that thing.
