For future reference:
Careful d-scans followed by 1 scan with probes (only visible on scan for 10-12 seconds if all went well) would give you a warpin on the thanatos, and then all you need is a sturdy interceptor and a shield-hac/recon gang with curses and backup DPS to come in and finish the job.
Would be nice to get a carrier kill, take note of his name and system, and if we're lucky they'll try the same setup, except next time we'll know what to do. :D

Unlike canes which seem to be built to have 1-2 links on them drakes are actually difficult to fit.

Letting you guys in the corp know that I won't be playing for 2 or 3 weeks due to life stuffs. I'll be training Weapon Upgrades 5 and T2 HML though. Just making sure you guys are aware so I don't get kicked for being inactive; I'm Ebolacoil in game if anyone doesn't know.

I was having some trouble with this ingame but was unable to get it resolved.
I'm having a really wierd issue where I can't rotate the camera around my ship at all, and I am doing it right (left click + drag.) The strange this is when I log into EVE I can rotate it fine, once, before it stops completely.
I made a second character and cleared all cache and everything but the problem persists, and google has thrown me no results. Does anyone have any ideas?

No I know exactly what he means, I've gone through it with him in corp chat several times. He doesn't like hacs because he doesnt feel theyre worth the additional cost. BC's are efficient and easy for the corp wallet to replace and to be perfectly honest its a great point when you factor into the silly balance position that while a hac should by all means kills bc's, drakes are the exception.

It's situational. You can do a lot with bcs that you can't with hacs. In general they have more staying power (especially the drake) and the cost is massively lower. The SP required to fly them well is substantially lower (a big factor for the hatchery). If I found myself trying to kill a neutral on a gate I'd prefer bcs but for a lot of open space fleet work a zealot can be awesome. I do tend to judge ships against the benchmark of drake though.
