We went on a null roam last night. We pounced on a ratting Drake and hauled ass when 10 of his friends started chasing us. Our scout found some t1 frigs sitting randomly in a system camping a bubble, so Caelum jumped in with his cane and just wiped them out. Then Kwark said "fuck docking" and warped directly inside a station and got stuck. So good

Also Nou Mene tried to catch up to us and knowingly jumped into a gate camp and died. We also lost a random Rifter somewhere, but nobody remembered who or how.

Went on a nullsec roam with 2 canes, a drake, a rapier and a rifter. We found a gatecamp with a cheetah, drake and two canes. We jumped on in and immediately gunned down a cane. They were all over the place, one of their canes was trying to kill me in the rapier and I was just holding him at 22k while the other guys were on Caelum. However our focussed fire and lack of purger rigs left them a cane down while Caelum was still on half shield. We'd spread our points and with a nanocane and stasis on their second cane Caelum was able to get out as his shield broke, just before their second cane went down. There was nothing the drake could do, he tried to kill me because the rapier was the most expensive and fragile thing we had but I could just align out, stasis him and disengage myself while Orandos cleaned it up. Very easy victory over a pretty comparable fleet. We just flew better, abused range and stasis and had decent fits. Wasn't much they could do.

We continued to roam and I scanned down a harb beltratting and held it for the fleet. Another easy kill, 4 bcs for 0 losses. We continued towards out exit and found a gatecamp with a hictor in the last system. A muninn, a falcon (cloaked, we didn't know about this yet), a rff, dramiel, devoter, deimos and a drake were there I think. We could just go through it and rapier disengage but after weighing it up we decided it was time to put our nano to the test. We triggered the trap, burned off and disengaged the tackle with the rapier. They launched a billion ecm drones and the falcon got in. With the rapier jammed we couldn't really isolate ships to gun them down and it was pretty much a standoff with VoV killing ecm drones for kicks while both sides did no real damage. I decided to call a disengage, set our align point to our outgate to lowsec and told people to pull drones and deaggress. Everyone was aligned and I said warp at the precise moment an overheated 30k point hit orandos' drake.

This was awful timing. If I'd said it a second earlier we'd all be out, a second later and we'd have seen and I could have stasised the devoter and allowed orandos to burn out. Instead we were trapped in a 30 AU warp while the rest of them seized the chance and ran him down. I took the rapier back to see what I could do but he was scrammed by then. Not really much blame to be had for it. The rapier should be the last man on the field but I had called an align, everyone was aligned and nobody was pointed so when I say warp it wasn't unreasonable to immediately warp myself. Equally orandos was on his first nano roam and you can easily be taken by surprise by how quickly an overheated mwd and overheated point can come out of nowhere. Obviously it's on him to notice it earlier and either overheat himself or tell me but it was incredibly unlucky that the point hit the second I said warp (for those who don't know an aligned ship warps instantly, the only delay was the reaction time between me saying warp and him hitting the button). I was more than happy to reimburse the loss and call it a win at 4 kills to 1 loss.

It mean I cleared my cache so I had to re-login to Teamliquid and I typed in the username I use for every other forum out of habit and it just so happens that I used the same password for that account as this one. (And I made a post on it assuming it was the pahndah account)

Actually I'm probably going to be pretty inactive for the next several weeks at least myself ... due to the nature of my job, I work insane hours for 1.5 months every 3 months, so yeah =T I'll just be logging in to update skill queue and adjust my market orders for a bit... maybe get sig disp V lol
