this was a fight we ( Stahlsturm, Advent of Fate, Gorgon Empire, Insane Asylum ) had this sunday against the Russians and their renter pets in Geminate.
was a great fight except for the couple of dreads we welped when Legion jumped in a dozen or so carriers, after we were beating up their battleship fleet for an hour allready. After we got in our dreads to deal with the carriers they brought in 20 dreads themselves which meant ours were outnumbered 1:4 .
Even with carriers and their own dreads and from time to time new reinforcements for their battleship fleet they were barely able to hold together against our Loki and Cerberus fleet and we managed to push them back and their carriers and dreads left the field as soon as they could.
In the end the fight ended after 4 hours of constant fighting without tidi in a stalemate. We were tired and running out of Ammo and the last remenants of the russian battleship fleet were hiding inside their POS that they managed to repair sufficiently with their carriers to stront it again.
So the fight ended with us losing 12-15 Lokis a couple of small support ships and 5 Dreads.
The russians lost 60 Battleships, around 30 Logistics, a Thanatos and some small stuff.
If it wasnt for the welped dreads this would have been a huge victory on our part. Even though we could not achieve our objective we still had a lot of fun and destroyed some space ships

Mordu's Legion ships:
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4582930#post4582930
Mordu's ships are focused on three main themes: speed, missiles, and warp scram/disruptor range. The primary goal is to have a very capable set of kiting ships that are especially attractive to PVPers. They will get bonuses from Caldari and Gallente spaceship command skills. We initially wanted to fill the Caldari/Minmatar faction gap, but the existing factions didn't really support that and adding story and assets for an entirely new faction wasn't practical. Mordu's Legion suits our goals extremely well in every other way so we are very happy with them (and their scary stealth pizza pan art).
Look forward to hearing what you guys think, we are pretty excited.

I don't understand why they would decrease missile range on a set of hulls intended for kiting. I haven't looked at the fitting requirements, but a dual web, dual prop, ancillary armor Orthrus has some pretty enticing potential.

you missed the point of these ships if you armor tank them and try to brawl.

very well you can kite with that but why would you do that? by using the limited low slots for armor rep, DCU, probably another resistance mod you are left with 1 more slot and that slot is probably then used for a BCU.
with a shield buffer you got 4 low slots that you can use for nanos ,BCUs and other stuff. These ships are supposed to be fast so there should be no need for dual webs
dual prop, 2 LSE, scram / point
2x BCU, Nano, DCU
missile launchers
that's what I would do. probably wouldnt even dual prop it, I didnt take a deep look at the numbers but 100MN AB might work. and then you'd still have another free utility mid slot

I suppose it might have been a while since you last played :3

the cynabal is the closest thing we have at the moment to compare the new cruiser to. And correct me if I am wrong but I have never seen anybody do anything worth noting in an armor repped cynabal.

You don't need to go ridiculously fast to kite, you just need very good damage application. If you fly intelligently and let whatever gang you are fighting separate and come to you, you'll have much better success. Nanos really aren't a requirement on a kiting ship.
Yes, this hull is probably intended to be shield tanked (and most people will use it that way) but if I fly something like HAMs and a long point on it, I'll will need dual webs or rigor to blap tackle frigates that try to land a scram on me. I may end up flying scram/single web HML/RLML in which case I could fly it shield tanked with the last two mid slots, but honestly I've always had more fun with 'get out of jail free' dual prop max range dictation fits.

ok I understand that, I am not a big fan of HAMs so I ignored that option

the only reason fitting webs to the mordus ships might be bad is because you have a fucking 22 km OH scram which is far more powerful in the defensive slot unless you really like ramming ab ships
also I simply can't think of an actually decent kiting setup that involved dual prop (again, cynabals don't count, throughout all metas they were easy 250m kms). An FN web is probably a better choice over AB if you're that worried about getting scrammed, and has actual gang utility.
