I justify the lack of TL EVE unity due to the fact even the worst of us are just too good at this game. No single corporation or alliance can handle us. Whenever someone tries to bind us together for a purpose we eventually split off the moment that purpose or activity is complete or becomes low enough in value or priority. Whenever we achieve something that few in EVE will ever achieve let alone understand, we immediately get bored and complain about lack of content. It's not that we're ADD or anything (though some of us are) but rather that you can't make kings ally together to march on a single kingdom when beforehand they were in the midst of conquering continents.
The shenanigans you read in this thread are often the highlights of what the TL EVE community finds interesting and enjoys but there's a lot going on all the time that doesn't get reported here or anywhere.

No.
It is pretty rare but I've seen people doing this with drakes/tengus and thanatii in C3's (in C4's people tend to just warp in the carriers themselves). No one bothers assigning fighters in higher class wormholes because fighter dps is nowhere near as effective as dreads + loki webs.
edit: Of course this means their carriers would be forever trapped in the C3 and you'd have to haul in and construct them there yourself.

carriers and dreads are good for wh defence to begin with. its not that hard to make caps in a wh and they pay for themselves in bs rats at some point.

am I bad or if I point an arty nado in a caracal (with dishonor so 40 km) and he immediately starts burning away from me, if I burn to keep point on him (I go ~2500), the nado will still get good hits on me no matter what I do (I wasn't hitting approach on the guy* but I lose the point if I don't go in a vector with a high "towards nado" component if that makes any sense)

I was just talking with Tango about this last night considering I have a few Carrier accounts accounts sitting around and the skills to build them in say a C3.

Found the info I wanted while writing this so if I was going to do it, might as well go all out and join a c5-c6 escalation group honestly would a carrier pay off in a c3 anyway ? or would you clear your sites too fast in a c3 since you can't move it, someone with more experience than me would be better to comment further.

I've daytripped C3s before. All sites are solo-able in a full-bear fit T3...albeit some can be slow. With fighters assigned/friends/links this should help significantly with speed. And the money was good, at least comparable to lowsec blitzing once you stopped having to look up the sites for triggers. Wormhole loot prices have changed recently but I don't think its anything too severe. And I found more empty C3s than ones with even an abandoned POS...they seem largely uninhabited and this is something I've been considering for a while and if its something you want to try just let me know.
My only concern would be the returns once you clean out your wormhole after getting the carriers in. Yeah they're cheap but I don't really know at what rate sites respawn in wormholes. I've come across C3s with well over 15 anoms and I would clean them out but if they take days to respawn that many....you may end up having to go down your chain for a reliable source of sites, in which case your carriers won't help. I don't know, still something I'd like to try. Never done wormholes, was considering just dropping a POS, building a Thanatos, and seeing what happens cause why not and I'm bored.
