There are a great many corporations and unfortunately due to poor economic understanding and a high value placed on roleplay industrial labour is extremely undervalued. There is little financial incentive to do it in the game because you're competing with gentlemen who do it for fun, not profit, and suppress the price by devaluing their own labour. If your heart is set on it then have fun with it but I'm afraid I cannot recommend a good corporation for it.

I am doing the same and I get enough money from it to buy my plex each month and have enough ISK to do other stuff. Ofcourse most really good moons are allready taken but some are still there that have decent combinations of materials. so for example I am producing crystalline carbonide on my POS

the exploring part is most of the time fairly tedious but can make good money if you are lucky. With the next addon CCP wants to improve the exploration, so we'll have to wait and see how it turns out

Eve is a life simulator where assholes are valued and nice guys get fucked in the ass. Pros: its really fun to be an evil asshole in an environmental where you can't go to jail. Cons: There are so many assholes they've gotten really creative with how to be the biggest asshole with the lowest ammount of effort. Welcome to eve.

First off, I would recommend that everyone attempt EVE at least once. It is a game with numerous flaws and whose experience is dotted heavily with headaches and difficulties, but it's also a unique experience that is not matched by any other game and is interesting and very appealing despite its flaws. You need to abandon all concepts you have of what an MMO is - EVE is not any of those concepts. The philosophical idea of balance is antithetical to EVE. EVE is about imbalance. Rich vs. poor. Many vs. few. The system elements that exist in the game which otherwise could be "balanced" (i.e. diverse options are equally valid in use) are not because the system is bigger and more complicated than a team of developers can collectively understand. Figuring out what works and what doesn't is one of the things that distinguishes good and bad players. You won't find much strategy in the gamist sense, but Sun Tzu's principle of winning a fight before it begins applies in every aspect of the game. As for RPG elements, well there is character progression, but most of the progression in the game is based on the individual (and it can go backwards... way backwards). If you get a good handle on the pulse of the game, you can become more rich and successful in a few months than people that have been playing for 10 years. If you are good at life, you will probably be good at EVE. The opposite is also true. There is definitely a large community in the game and many sub-communities and subdivisions of those - political or otherwise social factions are one of the interesting, unique parts of EVE. There is no simple explanation of what EVE is - it's too big to even begin to describe thoroughly. There are wikis and such, but one of the fascinating things about EVE is that the majority of ideas that the majority of people believe to be true are either demonstrably or epistemologically false.

Even more surprising is that egbinger is now home to multiple titans that were fitted it destroyer class orbital bombardment modules and sat at zero for half an hour. I was sad to not hear pl jumping at the chance of titans with no support fleets with them.
